This compact chair is wonderful for several reasons. My wife of 74 years can get it in and out of our SUV with the help of a you tube suggestion of us a piece of cardboard to slide it up and over the bumper. To fold just unsnap the holder at the back of the chair and with a little push down it goes. We just took our first trip on a plane to see my 14 month old grandson. Going to San Jose the airline insisted the batteries had to be removed. I cited others experience but did not matter they took out the battery and a cable with no instruction on how to hook it back up. Whatever they did in San Jose it was only running on one battery. Regardless we went throughout the terminal with no problem except down one light on the meter. Porto Mobility sent us a photo of the correct hookup within a few minutes. We went many places in San Jose, parks, open air malls and just "walks". On leaving on the same model plane the did not remove the batteries. Go figure! So through that terminal and baggage claim we only used 3 lights, maybe 20% of the battery. The chair itself is very fast, easy to maneuver. Goes over grass gravel and dirt with no problem. Badly cracked sidewalks or pavement can tackled but you must go at it slowly and perpendicular to the crack. If really big just find away to go around it. Be safe have fun and get back to living again. My grandson is cute as can be!
