U.S. Merchant Systems at Freemont, CA, are a group of underhanded, high pressure scammers. They have a large number of Credit Card readers which do not connect with a companies cash registers, or their computers. Lacking a source to dispose of them, they came up with the bright idea of leasing these worthless items to peoples beginning an internet business. To do this, they approached a group of Internet marketers, and offered them a percentage of the monthly lease, if the marketer demanded that the person wanting to participate in their program MUST lease a Credit Card Reader from US Merchant Systems. The Gurus saw this as an additional source of income, so many of them signed up to insist on people leasing the Readers to be able to participate in their program. The sneaky rascals have a 4 or 5 page legaleze document which makes it a non-cancellable 4 year contract. Their piece of junk Reader leases for $54.99 per month for 48 months. If You cancel your Credit Card, then they turn the debt over to a strong-arm Collection Agency in Chicago by the name of Lease Finance Group LLC. I strongly recommend You DO NOT get into ANY program that insists You MUST lease a Credit Card Reader to do their program.
