I found a plan on healthcare.Gov for $217 a month. It was the worst insurance I have ever had. My doctor was listed on their site as if he was in network. I found out later that he's not in network. I ended up needing a medical procedure so I called and asked can it go toward my deductive. They said no. So $3k out of pocket plus other visits associated with the surgery. I received the next bill and thought they'd cancel due to non payment. Nope. They sent another bill. Now they think I'm going to pay them $430.
This $#*! should be illegal. Oh, it's the government so it's ok that it's not legal
Tip for consumers:
Do not go through health are.Gov. There are several companies you can get insurance for around the same price, that works.
