I wanted a good quality DVD of an old public domain World War Two movie I had watched online (Parachute Battalion, 1941), so I searched online and found one sold by this "company". When I received the DVD, it was "homemade" quality in appearance. That would have been ok, but when I put in the DVD, I found that the resolution was lower than the version available online. That was really poor. If they want to burn DVD's of public domain movies to sell, that's ok, but they should at least burn the higher resolution versions. I mean, they have nothing to lose. There's room enough on a DVD for one high resolution black & white movie. A few months ago I got on the company's website and gave them some polite but firm feedback. They never responded. Beware of this "company".

I used this web-based calling service for a few years while overseas. It is very convenient in that you can use your computer to make a call to two separate parties, as well as using a special toll free number when abroad, in order to request your calls. This is very helpful if you are not able for whatever reason to get online. The only difficulty is that the website was sometimes difficult to navigate and your user name can never be changed: minor problems for a decent and helpful service.

I have used Skype for about a year. It's very convenient to have a way to contact others that is free (if they subscribe to the same service), and the fee for calling outside Skype is reasonable. Sometimes, we run into a problem with different people having different versions of Skype, and this seems to cause difficulty in allowing the video to work properly. After a lot of experimenting, we were able to work it out. Besides this relatively minor issue, Skype is not a bad service.

It is easy to sign up with them, and the terms are very clearly set forth. After signing up to pay $16 per month, I needed wills and powers of attorney done for my family. These were done free of charge besides the monthly fee.

This website does have a professional appearance, and they can help you download anything that any other torrent-related download manager can. However, beware, they often will get you to sign up by displaying a file you are searching for in a general search engine (such as Google or Yahoo), as if they have it, but once you sign up, then search for the file, there may be no sign of it -- because in reality it never existed. Furthermore, you should pay $1.95 to sign up, but beware, if you don't call and cancel, they can charge you up to $40.00 without reminding you or asking you.
