About Me

Salutations, My name is Deanna (commonly referred to as enantiomericallypure, D. M, or amygdala). Here on Site Jabber, I am a critic who quantifies platforms (i. E., technical education, emblematic major titles, and so on). I am a INTP geek that you won’t find interesting because I am a “boringly studious” and a mordacious, incredulous ultracreidarian who admires logic and believes the world would’ve been better off with focusing on rationality, instead of vestigial neurophysiology.

Social

How I Can Help

I grant counsel and inform others based on personal experience; nothing prodigious or astronomical, therefore it can't be quite informatively charismatic, or maybe even prognosticative for that sort of matter.

Interests

I’d love me a cup of morning coffee, writing, reading wikipedia articles, and speech and debate.

It had the embryonic prospective propensity to be an exquisite webpage in the educational environment, but a few of factors undermined it. First and foremost, it employs a metric predicated mechanism in which you must earn a certain number of points in course of completing the assignment. You obtain a point if you answer a question correctly. However, if you answer a question incorrectly, you lose a point, which means you must answer two questions right in a row to make up for one irrational response. Another inconvenience is that the parts compel you to visualize videos, which is especially bothersome if you already know the material. Even if you finished every assignment in a segment, you'd lose a lot of points because you didn't bother to watch any videos. You can't even fast forward through the video. It does not count delayed minutes, and it cannot be executed in the background because it autonomously terminates. It's quite burdensome. Overall, this is a amateurishly, exiguous website.

Khan Academy is a authoritative, dependable and advantageous source of intellectual admonishment. While Khan is manufactured particularly for children in primary school through preparatory school, anybody with an university to implement may remunerate superlatively from it, offering scholars an considerable amount of knowledge.

Khan Academy is primarily directed for students in the American educational regulatory regime. Many of its courses subscribe to the statutory curriculum for distinctive proficiency thresholds.

Khan Academy provides science and engineering, computing, arts and humanities, standardized tests, college rehearsals, career prep, and English language arts in addition to math, economics, and finance. The significant composition of these disciplines have their own courses. You may, for example, matriculate in Precalculus, US history, and an LSAT prep course. There are no limitations on the frequency of modules you can take.

AP classes are yet another instance. AP, or Advanced Placement, is a program in the United States in which students can take courses in high school that recompense toward their college degree if they meet the criteria. In other words, students can take a university course without paying for it, and if they pass a standardized exam at the end, they will receive tuition reimbursement. Khan Academy's AP courses educate students in a specific material, but students must take the authorized examination wherever it is administered; they cannot take the test or obtain ultimate completion through Khan. Meanwhile, Coursera allows you to take inexpensive college courses from Yale and other prestigious academic institutions.

Products used:
Khan Academy is based on learning materials, succinct readings, interactive quizzes (typically multiple choice), and consultation forums. When you register in a course, you have accessibility to all of the video lectures and other resources within this course, which are presented in a maturational chronology. A course is often partitioned into modules, which constituted lessons, and inside the lessons are videos, readings, and quizzes.

This so-called "game" is burdensome, contradictory, and elusive to play. Disconnection is an inevitable phenomenon. For years, it's been unequivocal depravity. There are so many plagiarized games and straight-up duplicates of games and clothing from other platforms with no slight fraction of artistry whatsoever. It is amongst the most rebarbative and astonishingly Mammonistic games that are available right now. The platform is full of hacktivists, incendiary provocateurs that harass and ridicule innocent and immaculate people and as well execute insurrectionary raids, and administrators who do very little to acquiesce to these critiques.

I've been playing the game for a solid eight years, adjacent to a decade and for much of those years, the platform was saturated with unadulterated mediocrity. Overall, the game is a platform for exploiting children's entrepreneurial spirit, with no professional performance management for practically any activities if they can avoid it, and as well provides a Black Market. The platform has evolved over the years to investigate methodologies to incentivize purchases while deleting anachronistic functionalities such as an irreversible transactional historiography for their virtual currency and enabling customers to cancel transactions of apparel and game passes. There have been so many extortionists throughout the experience that it appears to be their priority rather than delivering any solutions. It's very pitiful. If you're frantically searching the internet for a fun gaming experience, this is not the game for you.

  • Prodigy

I used to spend an prosperity of inventing time into the program. Prodigy facilitates children with reminiscing mathematics that they will need to know when they are much older and/or in their thorough stage of maturation. The crucial complication I have is that you have to become a subscriber to the membership to authenticate half of the commodities in the game. I get that they have to accumulate revenue, but it's as if if I wanted to purchase a property in the game with fictitious finances, I'd only have two substitutes, both of which are minimal burdensome. There are a few discrepancies as well, but I was never encrypted or anything. I wouldn't advocate this game to students in middle school or above; it's structured for younger audiences.

This is a cautionary narrative to everyone who is rhapsodized to purchase the game's augmentation. If you register for this service, you are consenting to tolerate recurring fees debited from your financial institution. A one-month paid trial period might ultimately cost you a great deal of finances. They have constructed this site in such a way that it is exceedingly arduous to access a one-time transaction. Also, the fact that it is nearly impossible to contact these individuals after you register for an account reveals that they are specifically passionate in your revenue and are ambivalent about any concerns with their reception.

  • I-Ready

DISCLAMER!
Please take into both consideration and magnanimity that this is my own confidential and elucidative anatomization depending on individual experience with the application labeled "i-Ready. Kindly be ambivalent about formulating animadversions towards the reviewer and by making prejudicial, unethical and facinorous comments, as this is my given viewpoint. Accordingly stated to the first amendment enunciates the prospective rights; "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.")

I unequivocally and authentically facilitate the ethos and axioms; "i-Ready is a phantasmagorical and injurious framework by compromising discommodious and perimetric components that practically places both children and teenagers in an enhanced interrogation compartment, which is a domain of distress, manifesting melancholic/saturnine temperaments, and disquieting tribulations in which they make them formulate pessimistic introspections by using the given methodology of pressurization and resources of overly intemperate assignments."

I've been using i-Ready since primary school, and I'd be the first to admit that it wasn't a pleasurable experience. Have some faith in what I'm saying. Since the commencement of i-Ready, and despite the fact that I was originally postulated for it, I haven't managed to learn anything from it other than questionnaires that didn't ring any bells at all, except failing assignments and having to do them in a repetitive, rather decelerated, utilitarian materialized manner. I was given a diagnosis of high-functioning autism at the age of thirteen, and I struggled to understand certain subjects such as algebra, arithmetic, and so on until the school administration decided to add a superfluous academic augmentation, which caused me to lose encouragement and my grades to begin to deteriorate in percentile magnitude. I've incorporated an animosity towards i-Ready, and I've scarcely accomplished the assignments prescribed to me by my teacher. I was reprimanded and penalized for it, and they dubbed me as a phlegmatic, a lethargically equanimous, and a lackadaisical person or someone who was never interested in the metaphysical and the epistemological scholastic temporal concern of life. Yet as a young person, I was rhapsodic about learning and wanted to learn anything, regardless of the topic.

I-Ready is principally acknowledged as a "educational" framework, with grotesquely, anthropomorphized, and anachronistic designed characters inaugurating ignominious double entendres and lessons that are a complete waste of time and investments (i. E., having to spend countless hours on a single lesson, simplistic assignments that are not worth devoting your hours to, answering a small handful of answers incorrectly which can be considered to be a reasonable threshold of semester scores but allegedly failing the lesson and experiencing hardship and impecuniosity by witnessing characters doing nothing except articulate rhetorical illogicality in a repetitive manner, and forced to participate in diagnostically-related tests, which is also an unadulterated disillusionment and a mortification that it shouldn't even enter into the partial equilibrium.)

Likewise, Curriculum Associates have never changed or updated the assignments to make them more unambiguous, except make it stay the same way as it is and make a turn to make things more worse and may even result in a downfall of a educational organization. Instead of improving on their major site I-Ready, they only prioritize their authorized discretionary spending and expenditures, resulting in a profligate commodity transacted as a "educational extension" provided by school municipalities. The only positive magnitude I'll mention is that i-Ready spasmodically provides a methodical and judicious educational atmosphere program that includes luculent rationalizations, insinuations, and offered academic periodicals and formative assessments that are the authoritative grade threshold for the textbook anthology.

I-Ready intensifies the modus operandi of trepidation for schoolchildren, teaches infinitesimals if anything, a unintelligible and a languorous calisthenic, and provides no favorable circumstances. The praxis of autochthonous consuetude should be prohibited internationally, educationism and in cosmopolitanism. It's lamentably ignominious.

To contextualize, i-Ready is a peripheral, inhospitable, and incommensurate auxiliary academic digital program that deteriorates and adulterates the child's ratiocinative magnitude. If you are a teacher who is frantically trying to add the correct applications, I do not resolutely espouse that you use the abovementioned rudimentary software.

As a student registered in the Exceptional Student Education Jurisdictional Department with extensive familiarity with the program, I can testify that i-Ready is an atrocious and a hysterically anomalous educational program. For years, their philosophies have been the same: preposterously limited residual thermoplastic material with no prospects of enhancing productivity nor given amelioration. If I were given the opportunity to contribute anything in the negative numerical spectral threshold, I would jump at the chance.

Tip for consumers:
All of these years of accumulated etymological sources of education will go by quite expeditiously, so don’t relinquish your treasured sovereignty of time by willing to devote hours to your accolades just to endure through hours of enormously unpleasant feedback and expositions, inaccurate solutions, and having to recapitulate animatedly automatic doctrines in a formulaic context.

Products used:
I-Ready constitutes of assignments (e.g., Teacher Assigned Lessons, Personalized Instruction, Learning Games, Classroom Mathematics, Magnetic Reading, Extra Lessons, My Path, and the Teacher Toolbox. Diagnostician-related assessments, a progression dashboard to exemplify your expenditure using this application, and to keep track of all assignments whether you've succeeded or failed.) Meanwhile, from the standpoint of the instructor, it maintains hebdomadary transactions of all students during all class periods, and it generally encompasses of the time used, assignments/diagnostic scores, and electronic connectivity.
