I take SmallPDF as my online PDF to Word converter but its capabilities are not limited to converting PDF to/from other formats. It is a very intuitive and easy-to-use tool to handle PDF documents but not compeltely free. You can only compress 2 PDFs in an hour unless you pay $6 per month.
I've been using OnlineVideoConverter for a while. Basically to convert online videos to MP3 files. The downside of this site is the bothering commercials that makes it cluttered and the annoying pop-ups that appear sometimes.
Online-Convert works as an all-in-one converter site in respects to image, archive, video, audio, ebook, webservice, document. You can upload your source file from local, cloud storage and URL. There is a search box at top right, which helps you to check if the conversion type you need is supported by the service. What's more, it is free for use. I have not came across any virus or malware download on online-convert.com. So I think it is a reliable and safe web-based converter.
PDFConvertFree.com is an all-inclusive site where you can split, merge, convert, create, rotate, encrypt, compress, grayscale PDFs. No need for signing up or submitting email address. More importantly, it is truly free for use. Finding an online LaTeX to PDF converter is not an easy task. If you go to this site, you land on the right page. PDFConvertFree.com provides a LaTeX to PDF converter that works great. There is no data loss and the layout is well-preserved after conversion.
