Garnet Hill used to be my 'go-to' for gifts, clothes, bags, etc. Not sure what has happened, but quality has gone down. Shipping is outrageous. Their ordering system is outdated. Ordered a bag and an inexpensive shirt to get free shipping (over $100). Didn't want the shirt, but made sense given their shipping costs are high. THREE days later, I was informed bags were out of stock. So, it took 3 days for their system to catch up. So I called them and told them to cancel the entire order and was informed that it was cancelled. Now 6 days later, I get a tracking number for the shirt only. Ugh. They need to reevaluate and update their ordering system, their customer services, and their over-priced merchandise. NO MORE GARNET HILL FOR ME. Now I order directly from the source and it's usually less expensive!

N/A. I've ordered from them for years. Over the past year they have gone down hill. I know order my merchandise directly from the vendor (i.e. Frye shoes, etc.). In the end, it is less expensive, and the merchandise is not used and/or repackaged. Plus shipping it just too expensive. This is the third time I've ordered something that said it was in stock only to find out a week later than the item was oversold! Yikes! This is especially annoying when the item is a gift. Plus it takes far too long for them to ship. Very disappointed. Used to be a great source, but not now!
They charge a 25% restocking fee PLUS you have to pay for the returns! No other on-line pet supplier charges for returns or for a restocking fee. I tried to cancel before it arrived, but they told me it had already shipped. (It was packed, but not shipped.) In any case a major ripofff! Will NEVER use them again! So many other good on-line/in-store pet stores available. They deserve to go out of business!
