After having a bad experience with a larger online nanny service (don't want to say the name, but it starts with a c) I wanted to let people know that there are better sites out there. Though I found my nanny through a great site, enannysource.com, I did also register at GoNannies and had some excellent prospects. Their nannies have background checks that they can provide when requested, so that's good to know. Sometimes bigger isn't better.

I used enannysource.com to find a sitter for my kids. Though they didnt have a lot of caregivers to choose from I did notice that they were better matched to my needs than other large sites that had more. They are also willing to personally assist you with your search if you email them. Easy background checks too even if you aren't a member. Love our sitter. Shes been working for us for over a year.
