Sportsline ROCKS!

Everything you need (or want) in sports. Up to the minute scores, play by play, stats, everything a sports junkie craves. Good Fantasy leagues and programs. Just all around good stuff... I prefer it over ESPN.COM.

  • Bionic Glove

I absolutely love this website and their products!

If you play golf or tennis and have ANY issues with your hands, like arthritis or gripping problems, you really need to check out this website. They manufacture these incredible orthopedic gloves that enable you to grip your golf club or tennis racket with ease and without pain. I don't play golf with a glove, but I had to wear one of these when I was rehabbing from a hand injury. I also know a lot of folks who have arthritis and other hand issues and once they got these gloves to play golf with, their pain and hand problems were greatly diminished and they could play again.

If this sounds like something you need, check it out by all means. I highly recommend it! The site is easy to navigate and great customer service too!

I have had a Golfsmith.com account for quite a while now. They aren't always the cheapest but I do have to say they have A+ customer service. Free shipping on most orders, and a great tracking module. I especially like to shop their clearance and close-out area, sometimes you can hit some really cool stuff at a nice price.

If you're interested in club-making this is the place to go. They have an entire division devoted to instruction, equipment and supplies so that you can do your own club building, re-gripping and stuff like that.

PS-Their best deals are at the end of summer season in the fall.

Another of a long stream of bad reviews for yet another scam website.

And all over these UGG Boots~

Maybe they should rename this site "UGG JABBER"

Look, if you really want those boots, go to a bona fide retailer and get the REAL THING. Stop trying to save a few quid and getting ripped off in the process. Get the original genuine article, shop in a nice environment and receive good service. My Dad taught me to "buy the best, buy the genuine article, pay for service and you'll always be happy". All popular items, especially fashion items, are breeding grounds for these types of fakes, counterfeits and scams. Now many of you are out ALL of the money you spent for the goof items, and you STILL don't have the boots you want. So add what you lost to the ultimate price of the real item, which you should have gone to a reputable shop and bought in the first place.

Stop the madness... there's no free lunch, and all these scam sites featuring these UGG boots prove it as well as the fake Rolex watches and Gucci purses we've all seen for years. Smarten up.

  • LiveOps

2/26/10

LiveOps is one of the better work-from-home opportunites and this website will tell you all about it.

You work from home and make your own schedule (30 minute call blocks). You need a dedicated land line and a computer with pretty much standard capacity. You do have to send in some money with your application (not much) but this a real company so don't worry. You have to do a speaking test and they will do a background check on you.

This is the company that contracts for the inbound calls from infomercials (most of the stuff you see on weekends like Slim in 6, Turbo Jam, Kevin Trudeau books, etc etc). This is a real job (you work as an independent contractor), they pay every 2 weeks, my sister has been working for them part time for about 4 years now.

It's not for everybody, but the site (and the job opportunity) are very legit. Visit the website for more info on how to apply, pay rates, etc.

  • 1-800 Flowers

2/26/10

I see some negative reviews on this site, and I would add mine to the list but I grew up around the business and know better than to use this nightmare service.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with flower ordering (and this includes Teleflora, FTD, ProFlowers and the rest), here is how it works and my insider instructions for beautiful arrangements delivered for LESS:

These companies only PROCESS your order. They charge you for the flowers, PLUS a "wire" or "processing" fee (which they pocket), and then send your order to an actual florist shop near your recipient. That florist receives 80% of the order total (and NONE of the wire fee). So essentially they are just relaying your order for the wire fee (usually around $8) PLUS they keep 20% of the order total as a commission. This is how it has ALWAYS worked.

They ship the "outbound" orders in a rotation, and any florist can sign up and be in the rotation (if they're willing to pay). So your $50 arrangement, plus wire fee, ends up being a $40 net order to the delivering florist. Even with the high profit margins in floral, you will never get what you pay for... ever!

Now, with the internet, we don't have to be abused in this way. ALL YOU DO, simply, is do a search for florists based upon the zip code of your recipient (like YellowPages.com). THEN you call the florist DIRECTLY. While you have the florist on the phone, ask them what system(s) they are on (FTD, TeleFlora, etc). They will ALL be on at least one of these. Go to that website while you have the florist on the phone (only takes a second) and then proceed to discuss your order. This is helpful because you can SEE various arrangements on the website to help you with the selection (like a brochure). You WON'T be ordering on the website, only using it as a shopping guide that you can actually see the various arrangements. The florist will gladly accept your order and payment, you'll get your money's worth, NO WIRE FEE (scam charge), and you'll be happy. The florists are really honest, hard-working folks they just get short-changed in the order system. AND since you dealt with them directly, they wouldn't dare mess up your order.

So that's the secret... and the solution... to flower ordering in the U.S.

Hope this helps you all out. It's another situation whereby if you've never worked in or around that industry, you would not know what I just told you. Try it, I promise you'll be as happy as you've ever been.

  • National Geographic

2/24/10

If you've never been to NationalGeographic.com, you really must spend a little time there. It's a fascinating website, with all sorts of interesting products and video collections... far too many to list in this review.

The site is very well organized and just beautiful to tool around on. Their non-profit mission is to keep the planet in order. Keeping their left-leaning politics aside (they are huge propogandists for the climate change argument), they have been doing a great job for over a century. The site is a terrific tour of all sorts of exotic and interesting artifacts. It is also a terrific gift -purchase resource, especially if you're looking for something really unique. It's a must visit!

  • GlobalClimateScam

2/24/10

After endless hours of research, I can now recommend this as the absolute TOP website dedicated to exposing the hoax of "climate change" and the recent global warming scandal surrounding some of the world's top 'scientists'.

Very well put together, this site contains a tremendous wealth of reports, articles, videos and links and has put together (once and for all) the case against the climate change alarmists.

Whether or not you believe that climate change exists (or not), you should by all means avail yourself of this information and be a more informed person. I'm simply astounded by the sheer volume of credible research and reporting that has been done here.

Oh, and those of you in the Midwest, Northeastern United States and Texas, grab your hats and mittens... global warming will be here any minute now...

  • Brad Brewer

For you golfers, Brad Brewer is a fantastic instructor!

Brad Brewer (of the Daily Brew on GolfChannel.com and The Golf Channel) has terrific instructional videos that are easy to understand and will definitely help you with you game. Links to his "Daily Brew" are on the homepage of this website also.

PGA Professionals like Brad are the heart and soul of our game, and I highly recommend that you check him out! You have nothing to lose but a few strokes off your game.

If you need any type of apparel, headwear or promotional items with your logo on them, I highly recommend this site... and the company. I have done quite a bit of business with them, and my experience has been superb.

Tom Finley, the owner, will give you personal service and his product selection and manufacturer connections are top notch. All best quality, great pricing and turn-around time. Shipping to your location no problem either.

The site is nicely laid out and is packed with great products. It will give you a good feel for the promotional products available and you'll also get some very interesting and different ideas. A+ on this one.

  • Floridaslargestgolfshow

2/23/10

This website supports and is a part of the actual Florida's Largest Golf Show held in Tampa, FL each year around this time. The show is great, but the website is pretty cool on its own. Not only will it give you all the information you need about the show including days, hours and location, but also where to pick up discount tickets. There are a number of sweepstakes to enter with cool prizes.

All around a very good site relative to the show if you're in Tampa Bay area, or plan to be in that area at the time of the show.

Well GEORGE...

Why did it take all sorts of complaints for you to come to THIS forum to apologize to Glenda and offer assistance? Shouldn't that be your normal course of business?

Don't even think that putting that post here will improve your image, nor will it erase all the previous posts savaging your website and service. Thankfully, this site does NOT remove reviews and is protected from any action you might consider taking (although I doubt you would have any recourse whatsoever, here or anywhere else). Your post is an embarrassment and insults my intelligence.

Do the civilized world a favor... SHUT DOWN your bogus website, refund everybody's money (unless you already blew it at the track) and go away. What you have done here does NOT qualify as contrition.

For all of you who have an interest in better health by drinking berry juices (acai berry etc.) I must recommend this website. I've been buying from them for 3 years, and never a glitch. The product always arrives timely, great customer service, and their prices can't be beat. My favorite item that I reorder every month is:

Smart Basics Organic Certified Acai Berry Gold 100% Pure Juice -- 32 fl oz

This is BETTER than most advertised products and blows away scams like Mona Vie! Check it out for yourself. I am a seriously satisfied customer.

  • FreeScore

When will it STOP?

Another slick, well-funded trap for the uninformed. This site, just like most others of it's genre, lets you think you'll be accessing your "credit scores", only to vector you to the "service" that you can "try" for 7 days. UGH. Look, if you're THAT interested in seeing your credit report, you can order one every 12 months for FREE directly from any or all of the Credit Bureaus. For a small fee you can order one even more frequently. AND your getting your confidential information directly from the source (and not putting your personal info out on the internet). You want to CALL for your reports. Here are the numbers;

Equifax *******111

Experian *******742

TransUnion *******213

Some things you just have to do for yourself if you want them done right and you don't feel like being duped into an unnecessary and useless service. Good luck all!

I too had one (and believe me ONLY one) bad experience with these clowns. It's all hype and no substance. Those ridiculous commercials only exist because Bill Shatner got buried to the elbows in the original stock offering back in the late 90s before the "dot com" bust happened.

FIND your hotel somewhere like hotels.com. Take a little extra time to CALL the hotel and handle your OWN booking. Same thing with the airlines. You just have to ask for a special rate and they almost always give it up. For airlines, there are promotional priced seats (ask them for a "Q" status seat) on every flight. They are limited but you can score them pretty easily. I have traveled extensively and seen almost every trick in the book, and know a few myself. I also recommend avoiding this site, it will not perform as advertised.

  • GolfUSA

2/23/10

Golf USA stores are without a doubt my favorite retail operations, and this website is helpful in locating the store(s) nearest to you!

All you have to do is click on "Store Locations" and the rest is easy. I'm so glad they created this function. The stores themselves are independently owned and operated, and you receive much better personalized service than at the "big box" retailers like GolfSmith, $#*!'s Sporting Goods, Edwin Watts and others.
