2 FOR THE PRICE OF 1, TRUSTPILOT & TEMU

TEMU will flag this review, and I fully expect (No trust in) Trustpilot to REMOVE it, as it has THE PREVIOUS 2 TEMU REVIEWS, beCAUSE? (cut and pasted from an email I received today...they don't change)

"Hi Gary Harber,
temu.com recently flagged your review because they don't think it's based on a genuine experience. Unfortunately, you didn't provide more details, so your review has been taken down"

SO, the 3 ORDER NUMBERS, TEMU ORDER numbers WEREN'T enough?, and what about the EVRi DELIVERY TRACKING DETAILS, TEMU...not enough?.

Temu, it is as a DIRECT result of your blocking my 3* review, that I changed it to a 1*, and ONLY THEN, because (no trust in) Trustpilot don't DO zero* options.

TEMU, DO YOU DENY I MADE ANY PURCHASES?
PLEASE NOTE PEOPLE that I didn't mess about with the order numbers, it is 3 different numbers. I guess it's a Sitejabber thing?

I have been reviewing a company called TEMU, and have included details of the orders placed (Temu order numbers) AND EVRi DELIVERY details so as to confirm I HAVE made purchases, so AM entitled to review, but my last 2 reviews have been removed by (No trust in) Trustpilot, after I receive an email FROM "No Trust", such as the LATEST email, received a few HOURS after my 3rd attempt at a Temu review. I have updated THAT review, as you can see.

" AND SO IT BEGINS...ALREADY.
TEMU HAVE REQUESTED MORE DETAILS,TO "BETTER UNDERSTAND"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Trustpilot Tue, 23 Jan at 02:45
Hi Gary Harber
Temu would love to understand your experience better, so they've asked for more details about your review—like an order number or email.

If we don't hear from you within 3 days, your review may be taken offline"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IT IS THE START of a removal process, with a little help of NO TRUST IN TRUSTPILOT, yet my review, THIS review HAS already been posted on another review site, in anticipation of Trustpilot going along with Temu, as it attempts to RIG its STAR RATING.

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS ORDER NUMBERS AND EVRi DELIVERY DETAILS = A GENUINE PURCHASE EXPERIENCE NO TRUST. It's as I predicted.

I just received the following email, after my HONEST review of a DISHONEST site, that being HotUKDeals.com, a review that is now on hold?

"Dear Member,

Many thanks for your contribution to Review Centre.

As part of our moderation of the site we sometimes undertake a verification of reviews that a company has received. On this occasion we are looking at some of the reviews for Hot UK Deals - www.hotukdeals.com and your review has been selected for verification.

We have temporarily removed your review from www.reviewcentre.com while we ask you to confirm some details.

We will require the following information for our records:

• Full name
• Supporting evidence (such as an email invoice or receipt of purchase).

Information collected is simply to validate the authenticity of your review and will not be passed onto anyone else without your express permission.

We hope that you can understand that this is a standard housekeeping task to ensure that our readers can trust both our site and the reviews they read there.

We hope to hear from you soon.

Kind regards

The Review Centre Team"

Oh well, just ANOTHER BS site looking to paint www.hotukdeals.com in a positive light by the looks of it, and to think I thought (No trust in) Trustpilot had that angle WELL and truly covered, silly me.

SO, my 1 day ban came to an end around lunchtime today, and my THREE DAY ban kicked in about 90 minutes ago...SIXTY minutes ago, my "alter ego" Baldric appeared, only to be shut-down within 30 minutes, however, it did serve to convince me that HOTUKDEALS are as BENT as a NINE BOB note.

BOY oh boy do these guys favour Amazon (in this case, but no doubt many other retailers) and will defend ANY DEAL put forward, regardless of any better option.

IN THIS CASE
A Tassimo "MY WAY 2", offered by Amazon@ £65 for JUST the machine, where as it can be obtained (from Buzz Retail, in 4 colours) for as little as £49.99, or (in Black) £54.99 as a bundle with 5 packs of coffee, so the MACHINE, AND 5 packs of coffee for £10 LESS than the so called HOT UK DEAL

My "comment" didn't even MENTION Buzz Retail by name OR show any link, it was the MERE FACT an alternative (to Amazon) deal was put forward, the VERY suggestion that you/we SHOULD google the product...just in case a better deal COULD be found, but by the looks of it we are EXPECTED to take HUKD's word that the Amazon deal is a HOT deal, so the $64,000 question IS...HOW MUCH DOES AMAZON PAY HUKD, TO PUSH IT'S GOODS?

Hot deals REMOVED if hukd don't like you.

CHECK THIS OUT...A "deal" is posted on hotukdeals.com, but the deal is NOT the best on offer, so YOU post a better deal, and hukd BLOCK it, THEN REMOVE any mention of it, because the seller "does not meet it's criteria". Get in to a discussion with a Mod, and end up BANNED.

Personally I don't trust HUKD, I don't trust its motives...I don't trust it's Mods, and this is why, but why don't YOU make yer own mind up.

THE DEAL CURRENTLY ON HUKD

https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/tassimo-bosch-my-way-2-coffee-machine-1500-watt-13-litre-black-*******

A Tassimo My Way 2 Coffee machine, currently SAID to be a bargain@ £65 (from Amazon)

A BETTER DEAL
£49.99 from BUZZ RETAIL

https://www.buzz-retail.com/bosch-tassimo-my-way-2-coffee-machine

An even BETTER deal, also from BUZZ RETAIL is the Tassimo My Way 2 IN BLACK, WITH A 5 PACK (of pods) BUNDLE@ £54.99, but I made a mistake and bought the WHITE.

MY ORDER, placed yesterday
Bosch Tassimo My Way 2 Coffee Machine £49.99

1 × Bosch Tassimo My Way 2 Coffee Machine
Colour: White

NOW THEN, THE $64,000 QUESTION
Why does HUKD not only refuse to allow me to post the (better) Buzz Retail offer as a deal, but actively BLOCK my attempts to highlight it, even to the point of banning me from the site?

  • Evri

5/3/22

SIMPLY changed its name, but NO amount of penicillin will cure THIS case of HerPes, just because of an expensive (I expect) name/uniform change, and/or resprays, if you STILL employ the SAME USELESS LYING THIEVING couriers/sorters.

Customer service? DON'T make me laugh.
The likes of Herpes/EVRi had/have NO customer service.
The only thing this name change has done is RESET the "feedback" clock (its * rating, albeit briefly) but then the new name? WHO the HELL (was dumb enough to) come up with that? SUREly the play on words (HerMes/HerPes for example) was obvious, as in...

EVRi... chance you'll never see your parcel (again) be you sender OR recipient
EVRi... chance it will STILL end up IF delivered? "delivered... to LANDfill, via your BIN, OR
EVRi... chance it will be "delivered" to the FOYER of your flats, if not OUTside the main door AKA THE STREET
EVRi... chance it will arrive, be SCANNED & PHOTOGRAPHED as "delivered", then STOLEN... BY THAT COURIER.

Oh yes people, EVRi chance methinks.
What we now need, is a "Joe Lycett's Got Your Back" (part 2, where part 1 was about Hermes) fingers crossed.

Tip for consumers:
Be ready to move...FAST if/when you receive notification of delivery (to your Foyer or Main Entrance...on the OUTside) Pay particular attention to the GPS delivered marker on the map, as if nothing else? it may help with your REFUND when it CLEARLY shows the delivery was NOT at YOUR address, AKA an OWN GOAL on the part of EVRi.

  • JD Sports

4/9/21

It's not what you'd call ROCKET SCIENCE people... Size DOES matter, but try telling the likes of JD SPORTS (via either) MILLETS, GO OUTDOORS and/or BLACKS to name but a few.

The sites of ALL 3 will be near identical... except fer the name that is. UnFORTUnately?
The SAME can be said of the SIZE GUIDE, KEY to any successful transaction/purchase... unless (that is) you are happy to PAY FOR DESPATCH (then have it returned... again at your cost) REfund (in full) and lose the sale in question?

It's simple enough to understand AND PUT RIGHT, it goes like this...
YOU take a size UK12 shoe, so you check the SIZE GUIDE, and sure enough, your intended purchase IS available in your size... OR IS IT?

ALL 3 SITES will tell you that (in the case of the Peter Storm Howden Hiking shoe) UK12 is an EU47, but when it arrives? Is found to ONLY be an EU46, CLEARLY marked on the box and the TONGUE of the shoe... simples, AND YET? When you bring this to the attention of ALL 3 CS departments, they ALL make like THE THREE WISE MONKEYS D'OH
OH well, it's now in the hands of PayPal.

Tip for consumers:
IF you must use these companies? call to CONFIRM the size stated IS the size you need, especially if you are a size UK12/EU 47, in FACT THEN get them to EMAIL you the details, because I don't think they can be trusted.

  • Gumtree UK

7/6/18

Review/comment on GUMTREE facebook (via the GUMTREE page), and have the message

"The people who manage this Page will review your post"

FLASH up on the screen for a few seconds, and then it (the review & the message) vanishes... Oh if only the same could be said of "people you may know" eh:-)

Gumtree/eBay it doesn't make any difference, not since eBay OWN Gumtree, just something to bear in mind people.

  • Action Fraud

7/4/18

As the victim of a credit card fraud, you dial 101(non emergency police)

Oh (you are told) you need to call Action Fraud, on *******040

You call INAction? Erm, sorry... Action Fraud, select option 1 (a new report/general advice) and report the details, to be? FILED by the sounds of it

My card?... used to pay a £204 PCN in Westminster, and this is what the Parking company tell me...

"Further to our recent exchanges, I can confirm that the payment was received in respect of a Westminster City Council Penalty Charge Notice (PCN); however, owing to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance, I am unable to divulge any further information to you regarding the PCN, including the PCN number, when/where it was issued, to which vehicle, and the identity of whomsoever made the payment"

So, now it's out of MY hands, and in the hands of the THREE WISE MONKEYS
INAction Fraud
The Police?
The Credit Card company

Do they STILL say crime DOESN'T pay?

  • eBay

7/4/18

Due to action taken BY eBay to block our ability (in the UK) to check-out/view the BID HISTORY ID page of any bidder (SO it's % history of bidding with a seller, and/or history of bid retractions) you need to make a SLIGHT alteration to the ADDRESS. You need to SWAP ". co.uk" for ". Com", it's THAT simple.

When you change the address to ebay.com and hit ENTER, the ability to CLICK on a users name in the BID HISTORY (accessed by clicking on the BIDS made) is now no-longer greyed out, but once again ACTIVE.
SO
In the UK, you find the item/auction of interest THEN change the address from. co.uk to. Com, and hit ENTER. You can now CLICK on the bids made, and note the names in the BIDDERS LIST are no-longer greyed out, so can be clicked on to access the bidders (in question) details, as explained below... HAVE FUN.

Do you want to "check-out" the opposition?, the other people bidding on the item that interests you?, well you SHOULD.

Follow these simple steps to get SOME idea about the other bidders in your auction, and perhaps (as in my case) spot a SCAMMER.

Your "username" is encrypted when you bid... encrypted by eBay *twice*, to protect? Well, that's questionable.

1, Find an item of interest (good start)
2, CLICK on the bids already made

3, Find yourself in BID HISTORY with a list of the bidders in this auction, along with the TIME and DATE bids were made, and at the bottom (in BID HISTORY ID, if applicable) any BID retraction/cancellation history.

4, Now CLICK on a "name" to be taken to BID HISTORY ID of that bidder.

You are now looking at the bidding history of the opposition, and also (importantly) it's history IF ANY with the seller in question.

*Note the different encrypted ID*? (top left)

In this section you are told of the % of bids by this bidder that went to the SELLER IN QUESTION, and lets not forget the RETRACTION history of this bidder (if any) found at the bottom right hand side.

Please note that these details cover both a 30 day & 6 Month period? So will REDUCE if this bidder is inactive, and would/could go down to ZERO bid history (with seller) & zero retractions?... Umm.

Please also note that your encrypted ID? Will remain the same for you for as long as you bid on the same sellers auctions... unless eBay try anymore funny business?

And the encrypted ID already IN "BID HISTORY ID"?
Is the ORIGINAL encrypted bidder ID of this bidder, as seen when it WAS bidding in the SAME sellers auctions, changed (I believe) by eBay to "muddy the water", and protect shill bidders, and in so doing? Protect it's 10% "cut" of any scam.

I have 3 sellers (of Sony Laptops) in mind, and can ID them AS THEY BID in each others auctions, AND I can place them (as sellers, so as bidders) at the SAME address of

Beresford Avenue
Coventry
CV6 6JA

And eBay? ACT like the THREE WISE monkeys.

A TEST FOR YOU.
Are you currently bidding on an item?, if so TRY THIS.

Ask your friend (via his/her eBay account) to access the auction you are bidding on, go to BID HISTORY and see if he/she can ID YOU.

POINTERS
Take your User ID (I'm removaldog)
Take 2 random letters, and *** and lets not forget your feedback score?, AKA a SCAMMERS FINGERPRINT.

In this way
I could be seen as m***d (469) or r***m (469) now, can your friend spot you?, if so you, can spot a shill bidder... it's THAT simple

ALL THE BEST.

  • Shiply

7/2/18

I was going to cut & paste a review of Shiply that is STILL
"under investigation" at Trustpilot
But I would need to erm... double check the spelling of the word "shiPly", as I notice the P and the T may have been mixed up... a few times.

Shiply have recently "enhanced" it's system, in relation to... well it's relationship to eBay, in order to prevent us (on eBay) from seeing that a scam or shill bidding is taking place. This is a scam that is worth 10% to eBay.

Known as the FVF (final value fee) 10% is the base rate fee eBay charges sellers at the end of an auction. It's ALSO known as the PROCEEDS OF CRIME if eBay are aware of the fact the seller is involved in shill bidding, and they are... fully aware of at LEAST 3 sellers... how can I be sure? Oh, that's the easy part... I told em. Known as the THREE WISE MONKEYS, I told eBay CS, eBay Trust & Safety, and the eBay community.

But what of SHIPLY, the COURIER FACILITATOR?

Shiply's site works WITH the eBay site.

Say you have an item of interest on eBay, and before you "commit", you wanna see what it will cost to transport it, so you need to "Get a quote" from a courier, via SHIPLY

You "tick a box" to confirm it's an eBay item
You import the eBay item number, and in so doing was ALSO able to import the address of the item, down to the post code minus door number, for example the actual address of 2 "names", sellers of the exact same Sony Laptops is

BERESFORD AV
COVENTRY
CV6 5JA

Sadly I'd mentioned this to eBay, as (with some other stuff) proof positive of shill bidding, and the result?

SHIPLY "tweak" it's system to "enhance the user experience", and (fortunately for eBay) block the facility to nail a scammer.

SHIPLY & EBAY?, 2 sides of the same BAD PENNY methinks.

  • Trustpilot

7/2/18

I mentioned in my 1* Trustpilot review of shiply.com (a Courier Facilitator) that I believe shiply are WAY toooo close to the auction site eBay, when I mentioned TO eBay that I could prove fraud/scamming and shill bidding with the use of the Courier Facilitator, only to then see the ability to perform this function VANISH, and Shiply's response was?

"The changes were made to enhance the user experience" or in plain simple English? (yet in genuine consideration of the guidelines of THIS site)... BS.

THAT review is STILL (as of this very moment of 13:28pm 02/07/18) under review (investigation) by Trustpilot
Reported 25 June 2018
Published 24 June 2018

Fact is (as I told eBay CS & eBay Trust & Safety, a number of times)

WHEN you "import" the "item number" from eBay to Shiply for the purpose of getting a quote (pre purchase/auctions end) you would also import the ADDRESS, down to the postcode, minus DOOR number, and in so doing? You can uncover a scammer, something I don't think eBay are too keen on... at 10% per scam.

HOW SO? 1 sells, and 1 or 2 bid, and just "mix it up".

You have 3 "names" (as I do)... eBay sellers, all selling the same Sony Laptops... and you have already USED the Shiply option of

"is it an eBay item?, if yes, TICK THE BOX to "import eBay item number". And have imported the item number/item details, and SEEN the address of 2 of the 3 sellers, and it's the same address, Ouch.

NOW... if (as I can) you can ID the SAME 3* sellers... AS BIDDERS, and you find them bidding in each others auctions? You have yerself a case of shill bidding and, if successful, fraud.

*Shiply "enhanced" it's "user experience" before I could pin the 3rd seller to that address of

Beresford Avenue
Coventry
CV6 5JA

You see... no DOOR number, so unless we go door to door, I believe the "Human Rights" of these criminals were/are still safe, even from the police sadly.

I also believe it was a case of eBay "suggesting" the tweak to Shiply's system, and NOTHING to do with ANY "enhancement" for our benefit.

So, there you have it... in 1 fell swoop I have managed to review 3 for the price of 1, and ALL get a maximum 1* in my book

UPDATE
Shiply (via twitter) have replied to my post... and CHANGED IT'S MIND on WHY the Shiply system was "tweaked".

I am NOW told it is down to D A T A P R O T E C T I O N Yes, THAT ol Chestnut,

They "assure me" (Oh, well thats OK then) that it's 100% down to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) that they had to remove the ability to see the POSTCODE. The postcode Shiply?, so what about the REST of the address?.
