I found another scam and for the people, I reported it to OLX. I found the exact same pictures on another website which is against the guidlines of OLX... or are they?

You would think that a company like this would remove an ad as fast as they could when it goes against the guidlines. But apparently, this scammer has paid to have his ad high lighted. A whole 10 pesos and since he paid this 10 pesos OLX is LETTING HIM SCAM THE PEOPLE. FOR 10 PESOS!

You can read many people talking about the fraud items Lazada gives to their customers. Well, there is another scam going on in plane sight. Anybody can see this scam. Somebody is stealing A LOT of money with the shipping. This adds up very much. I will show you how they are doing this scam.

First, Lazada advertizes free shipping on items if you purchase over P1000 unless they are bulky. I can understand this charge. And if you look on their site, Customer Care > Shipping & Delivery, there is a paragraph "How is my bulky fee calculated" with a table. They explain that the bulky charge is calculated by weight. Specifically they say "Your bulky fees is calculated based on weight per item per order."

I found an item that was listed as weighing 12KG which doesn't even qualify as bulky yet they charged P800 for shipping.

I bought a 6 seat table that came in at just over 63.2KG yet I was charged P800 and it should have been P650.

I assure you there are 100's or even 1000's of items that steal from the customer. This is criminal and somebody should go to jail.

Lastly, on the table I bought (Gary's review), I did mention this shipping detail in my review asking who was taking this money. But my review was edited and all the bad was taken out. So Lazada does edit the reviews.

Buyer beware! This site is robbing you. Somebody needs to stop this fraud. Perhaps their bodies will be floating in Manila Bay when Duterte takes presidency. Somebody is getting rich from this fraud. It adds up fast!

Lazada responds with they have two ways to calculate these fees. By size or weight. That is very important information and it seems like that would be added to their FAQ. Doesn't seem like they would be editing my review to take this out... to HIDE this information. I have been on the Lazada Facebook and they will not even answer there. Here, they have very little control and I think I finally have somebody's attention. I have spent a little bit of money here and my experience simply gets worse and worse. The lies are simply unbelievable. And if they think I am going to stop here... they better think again.

I was a little busy when I replied to the post. I have several points to make about this answer.

First, it says that my opinion is respected. Well, I am sorry but the fact is my opinion is not respected by Lazada. My proof is, as I explained above in the original review, the fact that my product review was edited. In fact the part that was edited was about this shipping charge. To edit a product review to make yourself look better is total disrespect to my opinion. I have some very good proof that my product review WAS EDITED! Look at the title of my review. "Great Furniture But..." Read this review and all you see is all the good parts of my opinion about this item. There is nothing bad. So it shows the "Great Furniture" but as you can see it neglects the "But" part of the review. And I did explain the "but" part and it was about this shipping issue I have.

I don't know who Lazada P. Is and I don't understand how they can come in here and basically change the Help Center FAQ to make this situation look good for them. The fact is, they say "Your bulky fees is calculated based on weight per item per order." No more and no less. There is no mention of size as Lazada P. Puts in here.

I have worked in a shipping business. I packed and loaded planes in Anchorage, Alaska. I know that weight and size both figure in the shipping fees.

But when you have items that claim "Comes in boxes for lower shipping cost" then they charge you P800 or the maximum cost, then how can you claim it is saving me anything? Lowers shipping cost but costs me the maximum amount?

The facts are clear. Lazada simply keeps every unclear which opens the door for the retailers to screw the general public. They hide the truth from their customers by editing out the product reviews to make them look better. Lazada is doing this for money. A few pesos they stole from me cost them much more than they made. I just moved here and I need some major appliances which I was going to buy through Lazada. But after the screwing from the table I got, Lazada lost out on a lot of sales. Thousands for washing machine. Beds. TV. Things I need. Lazada lost out on this because they will not be straight with me.

The only thing we can do is trust 100% in what is in print. If there is any part of the print that is not true, then the item should be removed until that item is as described. That goes for the shipping charges. In a store we can see and touch the item before we give our money to buy it. To say that you guarantee an item in any way just doesn't really work. I will use the table I bought as an example. Do you realize they had two guys that brought this table to me? Not only two guys but they had a dolly to carry it here? I am about 100 meters from the road. Not on that, my ankle was crushed 20 years ago so carrying an item that weighs 140 pounds would be a bit much for me to 'return' if I was not satisfied. It simply is not easy for me to do at any weight.

To have somebody come on here with NO reputation and try and say things that are not true, makes Lazada look even worse. Lazada P. I donn't know who you are but if what you say is true then why doesn't the website explain the shipping charges more clear. Make it to where the customer doesn't get constantly screwed by fraud retailers?

STOP THE LIES! Your retailers are Lazada no matter what name they use. You have the chance of a lifetime here and you just take every peso and run with it. I could debate you on this until your nose is in the dirt. You can't win because you can only lie about everything to make yourself look not so bad. If it is true that you "respect my opinion" then explain why you edit my review (and probably many, many more)?

Your retailers, Lazada is screwing us all. And by editing our not posting our reviews are very alarming. The bold lies many give us customers should be a very loud alarm to keep people away from Lazada. Be very aware that Lazada P. Apparently will just say things that make it look good.

Lazada P. You have NO POWER here to hide the truth! I am the wrong person to screw with and I will not fall for your lies either.
