Having been a "motor head" for the past forty five years I was very impressed when I visited Phoenix Engine Rebuilders for the first time. Turns out the owner, Randy and I were cruising central at the same time years ago. In a day when honesty, integrity and expertise in engine building at a reasonable price are hard to find you wont be disappointed purchasing an engine from Phoenix Engine. They have a knowledgeable staff with the skills, machinery and facility to produce hi performance engines. They stand behind what they sell and they are the only engine builders I found to offer the Fast Track service. When you purchase the fast track option your engine is fully run on a test stand, carburetor is jetted properly, valves set and engine is timed properly. You receive an engine that is ready to bolt in and run. This eliminates the buyer from having to do the break in procedures that are critical on a high performance engine. Many people don't have the knowledge to do this properly which can result in engine failure. I've been thru their facility. They do all work in house, thus giving them better quality control. These aren't assembly line engines being thrown together in a few hours which often sell for less money. As someone once said you get what you pay for.
