This site favors th user, but does not help the business owner. It's near imposible to remove a bad review or remove your listing (which you didn't agree to list on the first place) i find that highly unfair, and to disadvantage of many.

As a hotelier i submitted a request to get listed on their sites ages ago, i had access to the extranet and filled all the info, it's been ages and still not published.

From a hotelier perspective i requested to find out about their pms backpacker online, nobody never got back to me about that. Then i created a mega micro site with them it was buggy (with i. E. chrome, mozilla) and it took ages to get published and still not right. Not a lot of bookings either.

I'm a hotelier and the customer service is ok, in the way they can sometimes take a couple of days to get back to you. The extranet has features they should improve such as there isn't a way to cancel deals you create in the promotions tab, you have to ask them to create rooms for you you can't create them yourself in the system. The WORSE part is the review centre, people can post some ridiculous reviews and you can't ask them to be checked/removed, nor you can do a management response like on tripadvisor. If they don't do something about it i think i'd be healthier they remove the review section.

The guest reviews express the personal opinions of Booking.com customers who filled out a questionnaire after their stay at the hotel, therefore the hotel is not allowed/required to post. The reviews are screened for obscenities and afterwards published to the page. Please let me know if there is anything that I can assist you with.

They don't allow listings for hotels in south america. Their customer service sucks they get back to you very late and when you call them they only have the option to assist people that made bookings and not businesses.
