This is a business based in Hong Kong. I ordered a B+W neutral density filter from them on 8 June 2011. Their price was much better than anywhere else I had found on the net. It didn't say on the website whether this was the uncoated version or the more expensive coated one. I assumed at the price that it must be the uncoated one but decided to order anyway.

Anyway, it arrived 6 days later - amazingly quickly given the distance it had to travel.

As a bonus, it turned out to be the coated filter.

Got a good rate on booking a Paris hotel for three nights in October 2010. No problems.

The mark of a company that I would want to do business with is not that things never go wrong, but that when things do go wrong they sort out the problem decently.

My original order for some CD drawers from The Holding Company was somehow lost. I finally got around to chasing it up, but unfortunately the items were no longer in stock. The Holding Company tried to get some from another store but without success. So they gave me the choice of canceling my order or waiting until the next delivery, which would be in a month's time. Although it was quite a long wait, the items finally arrived as promised.

I bought a four-point locking kit for my existing garage door from Asfordby Doors, ordering it over the phone. Later that day Martin, their Technical Sales Manager, emailed me with a couple of questions to ensure that the right kit was ordered. The kit arrived a day or two later. I was really impressed with his attention to detail and knowledge of the product. Full marks.

I've used Wiggle a couple of times now and been very happy with what I've bought there. The most recent time, one of the items I ordered was out of stock. It took a month and a half before they dispatched it, but they did at least dispatch the other item immediately and gave me the option of cancelling the out-of-stock item.

I used this site (to buy some vacuum cleaner bags, obviously) in February 2010. It gives the impression of a business run out of somebody's spare room, but the service was excellent and I got the bags I needed, and which I had been unable to find elsewhere.

If you are having trouble finding the correct bags for your vacuum cleaner you could do a lot worse than give this a try.

I ordered a copy of Notion 3.0 from them in March 2010. It arrived quickly enough - no problems.

ESpares are great for finding replacement parts for the various appliances you have around your house. I've used them three times now and have always been very happy with their service. It is certainly a lot cheaper than calling in an engineer, and on some items you can even watch a short video explaining how to fit the replacement part.

Recommended.

I've used Fox DIY twice now, both times to purchase curtain rails that I couldn't find locally. (I'm very fussy about curtain rails!)

Delivery was very quick both times and I was more than happy with their service.

Same story, same fraud.

Given the. co.uk website, the prices in UK pounds sterling, and the UK phone number, you would think that this is a UK company. This is clearly what they want you to believe, but in fact they are trading from the USA from behind a mail forwarding address.

The software that I received is the US edition. In my case it meant I could not register it here in the UK. (Incidentally, it says this very clearly on the outside of the box.) When I phoned them they apologised and promised to forward my complaint to the management. I got a reply fairly quickly - telling me that there was no problem and I could register it; I would just not be able to receive the product support. I then asked to return the software for a refund. Since then they have not replied to any of my emails and their telephone number has stopped working.

I am now left with a software package that I cannot use and I cannot get a refund.

One other tidbit of information. Specialty Software appear to be a sister company of Crazy Cameras. Look up the reviews for Crazy Cameras and you might see a pattern.
