This review is about one write-up from the MM Team. The lack of fact-checking for that write-up makes me think the website's owner just says whatever to get make money from it.

When it comes to advising readers about health insurance, I cannot tell if Maximizing Money's "MM Team" is clueless or purposefully misleading consumers.

Altrua is a HealthShare, and healthshares are NOT health insurance. Maximizing Money calls Altrua an "Alternative Insurance Plan." I posted a comment to Maximizing Money, and it went off into limbo... the website still states Altrua is an "alternative insurance plan" when it clearly (and in the clearest legal terms) is not.

For the last hour, I've personally witnessed... I've listened to my son try to cancel his Dominion Virginia Power account for his former home address in Leesburg, Virginia. The telephony system did not understand the account number he typed in from his cell phone. When he finally did get that to work, when he typed in the credit card number for payment, the system voice said there was an error and hung up. After he went to a land line to complete the transaction, he was able to get to a real person, and finally get the payment made so he can now cancel the account. The only survey available asks about the representative. Dominion never surveys for how customers feel about the quality of service with the automated system; it's terrible.

This is the feedback that I provided upon unsubscribing: "I'm just not a Believer - not part of your Tribe. For the $250 that I paid, I received nothing but more advertisements. It's the first time that I ever paid to be advertised to for more stuff without receiving the promised value for the original purchase. I'm out."

After setting my limits to $7,500 USD, I deposited $5,000 USD to my Coinbase USD Wallet from my US-based bank account. This transaction was made at 11:32 PM (EST) on 2018, January, 8. Coinbase took the money from my bank account on 2018, January, 9 before 2:00 PM (EST). It is now 2018, January, 16 and still NO deposit showing. This is the 6th business day (Internationally; yesterday was MLK Jr. Day in the U.S.) and the 8th calendar day. Coinbase policy is deposits can take 2-5 business days to clear due to ACH blah blah blah - well, Coinbase had my money on the 2nd business day, yet did NOT deposit it in my USD Wallet TO THIS DAY!

On day four (2018-01-12), I called the phone number Coinbase listed with the bank transaction; that number NO LONGER WORKS. The new number *******930) is nothing more than a talking phone tree that does not allow for human interaction at all - at the beginning of the call AND at the end of each message down the tree, the voice directs you to go online to their support site. After going through the miserable "Chat Bot" on Coinbase's support website, I was finally able to send them an email from https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/emails/new...

And Coinbase's response so far? CRICKETS! Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero response. Since I finally sprang for more than a couple dollars here and there deposit to invest in cryptocurrency, Coinbase really sucked me into their net bad. If not stolen, at least misappropriated and using my money as their "FLOAT" to increase their own corporate profits. At worst, Coinbase is a fraud, at best, a really messed up company. I'm feeling chaffed. And, I'm done with these bozos. IF this money ever does show up in my Coinbase USD Wallet, I'm just going to withdraw it and go to another service - or put it back into Amazon stock... what a CON JOB.

Epilogue: I have contacted my bank and at some point I will have to submit a fraud complaint, though I should give it to the end of this week considering the US holiday affect on banking. Even though Coinbase had my money 4 days before the holiday. Bleh.
