To all ladies who like and need a bag.
If I have bad service or buy sustandard goods, I feel it's my duty to tell all, in an effort to see that others might avoid the pitfalls which I have, therefore I have to tell you that I won't be buying anymore bags from Moda in pelle.
I bought a gorgeous black shoulder bag from there less than a month ago, and was so pleased with my stylish purchase. Thre days later, the top of the bag ( stitched on/ sealed trim) started to come away. I was appalled. The bag wasn't cheap! It was made of leather, with patent trim. A day later, the inside zip broke, so I took it back. The manager instantly offered me the same bag, but I questioned it's quality. She said there was only one other available, and I didnt like any of the other bags available, so I looked at it. Sure enough, I could see that the same trim on the top was beginning to pull away. The manager looked at it, and when she held it, the whole trim peeled off in her hand! She said she would send both bags back to the manufacturer. I told her I wanted my money back, but she refused, telling me that it wasn't company policy wtc. I didnt really lije any other bags, but the manager wouldn't budge, so eventually I chose a different bag. It was £10.00 cheaper, so she gave me a voucher for £10.00 to use on further purchases. I left the store disgruntled, and feeling cheated. Two days later, guess what?! The inside zip broke, and all the trim started coming away! So today I brought it back. The same manager served me, and told me that though I had oayed cash for the bag, and the previous one, and had produced my origional receipt and voucher, ( and she remembered serving me), she said I could not have my cash back because she didn't have any in the till! It was 1.30 pm. She said it would have to go on my card, which means that it takes theee days or more for the money to come back to me. Embarrassingly, I had to empty all of the contents of my bag into one of their bags and walk out of their store bagless and unhappy. Rubbish shop, poor service and substandard ( though arguably expensive) products. Not impressed. Needless to say, I won't be buying anything from Moda in Pelle again!
I really hope this rant helps others from shelling out good money for shoddy goods.

Dear readers,
I hope you find my review helpful and informative. This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. The last time was a year ago, but I was so disappointed this time, I felt compelled to warn other would be customers. Where do I start?
Well, the bathroom blind ( our room overlooked the car park, so blind much needed, with toulet seat next to window! Lol) was fitted with what I can only describe as the cheapest pully even a market woyld be ashamed to sell. Upon attempting to pull the blind down on our first night, it broke in my hands inmediately. The cleaners did not notice this untill the following morning, when it was replaced with... you guessed it, the same pully! I tried to pull the blind down that evening and again it immediately broke in my hands. Appalling cheap kit. The mirror was missing from the inside of our door, which left a mark the size of the mirror, where the rest of the door had been varnished around the missing mirror. Very shabby. We tried to order room service on our second night, and the man who answered the phone was rude and told us there was no room service! It states room service in their welcome book which you find in each room. Unbelieveable. We corrected him, stating that we have stayed before and had room service, and that their book states that they do it. He did not appilogise, just simply said 'ok what do you want.' We were told countless times that we needed to 'book' if we wanted to eat in tge bar or resturant, giving 'as many hours notice as possible'. The rest of the staff seemed flustered and there was an air of not only mismanagement, but possibly a shortage of staff in the most busiest time of the season! When I enquired about taxi's at reception, I was pointed towards cards on the side and told to ring them myself. It is no wonder that we find service abroad so comforting, when we are so bad at it in our own country! I will have to find another hotel to stay at in the future in Swanage.

One month ago I moved to a new house, and needed carpets fitted. I went to a local firm, who
Have been established for many years, and went to see them. The boss was very nice, and I thought I would get a good service. They were not cheap, but not overly expensive either. The head carpet fitter by the name of Colin, was the main problem. He lied to me, and reated me with contempt. I was also very surprised by the amount of workmen who came to fit the carpets, which took all day. There were five of them, to fit carpets in a small three bed two storey house! One of them was about 18, who was treated as if he were nothing by the afore mentioned Colin. All the house was to be fitted with underlay. I noticed that whwn the underlay was being fitted to the stairs, that it was cut way too short, and only just overlapped each stair. I told the boy who was cutting it, that I was not happy with that, instantly Colin jumped in and said some B****SH***T remark, as if I were stupid enough to believe him! That was a very bad start. I was then told that ( after paying for 50% of the total cost) that there may not be enough carpet left to do the inside of the cuboards! Again, Colin told me this. I told him it had already been paid for and that there should not be a problem at all. He walked away and carried on. At 5 pm promptly, they had all packed up their stuf, and were moving out. I asked Colin what was happening and he said that he would have to come back tomorrow to do the stairs and lounge himself. That was going to be the Saturday. He made it clear that it was some sort of favour! I was due to move in to the house in 3 days time, so I ignored his rudeness. He left abruptly. The following day he turned up late, and I had to wait for him. He started work. When he had finished I looked around, and it was awkward, he made it obvious he wanted to go. I did not have enough time to inspect the lounge, which I did when he had left. I did inspect all other areas, and pulled him up on some areas which seemed to be lumpy, and other areas which looked like they had been cut too short. He told me it would "settle down", and gave me another B***Sh***t story. He then wuickly left, and I was unhappy with the result, and with his attitude towards me. I then inspected the lounge, and to my horror saw that it was lumpy, and I tried to flatten it myself. It looked like a huge wave when I trod on it. Come carpet also lifted when I trod on it. I went straight back to the company, which by the way, Colin said would be closed that day, being a Saturday! Low and behold there he was, loading his van for another job! I went into the reception area, and spoke to the lady, and told her everything. Colin then walked in, and she said to him that I was unhappy. I was standing beside her. He then started shouting at me! And said that I WAS happy! I continued to complain, and was told to shut up! I was so upset, I left, and rang my friend, who said he would speak to them. I ended up having to get another carpet fitter to put right the TERRIBLE job All Floors did, and paid another ( this time well spent £50.00) to put it right, though the stairs are still LUMPY! Aand some of the carpet still lifts. DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY! I will be reporting them to Trading Standards. UNBELIEVABLY TERRIBLE. DONT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE.

Tip for consumers:
If you need to buy carpets, please people, do not go to All floors in Witney. Do go through the leaflets popped through your door for carpet fitters, that is where I found a real one, who put it right! Also, they don't have the overheads, which the other ones do, so you wont be paying for their rent! It pays to go on sites like this, which I wish I had done! Good luck everyone.
