Firstly, if you are looking for drum samples or anything like that, there is a ton of AMAZING stuff out there for FREE. A lot of people who make great sounds put them up for free and with just a little digging, you can get all of them and they sound amazing! The thing about this Ghosthack is that they put them together to make them sound amazing but when you get them, you realize that it's all in the productions and not so much in the sounds you get.

I ordered a few things from Ghosthack and was not at all impressed. Even looking over the sounds in my library gives me a feeling of resentment and I often pass over them just to spite them.
The sounds are of good quality for sure but that is not the problem. It's that whoever makes them is clearly not very good at putting them together in an intelligent and diverse way.
For example, many of the sounds in the folders marked "dry" have reverb on them! What do you think "dry" means? IT MEANS NO REVERB! Most good producers and beatmakers prefer dry sounds so that you can add and detract your own reverbs. Once a sound has reverb on it, you can't take it away and that can be frustrating when the sound you want to use is not dry.
Secondly, there are 100 or more kicks in the "kicks" folder but almost all of them sound ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME! It's like they changed a slight frequency on part of the kick or just changed a part of the top end of it but the rest of the sound is the same for 100 or more kick drums. Not to mention that NOT A SINGLE ONE of them is longer than half a second. At this day and age, that is clearly an oversight from an inexperienced sound maker who either doesn't own a sub on his system or has no idea how to make a good kit of sounds. Maybe they do that so that you'll buy their truly dry sounds later or they're saving all the long kicks for future packs that they want to sell you.

I was disappointed because I spent about $60 US and did not get what I had expected. I went online the next day and got a ton of much better and much more diverse sounds for free. Contact Skin City Records and I'll send you the links.
