I wish I had read the reviews before I did business with these incompetent fools. I placed an order on May 8th for nearly $2000 of parts for a project car. Until Tuesday 6. 27. 20117, they kept telling me a slew of parts were on back order. So I got the names of their suppliers. Bar none, not one of the suppliers had an order related to Mid America or me. I wasted just shy of 2 months for nothing but excuses, lies and gross incompetence.
Now they don't have the guts to tell me what happened, won't return phone calls or e-mails. Guess I have some internet posting to make about these losers.
As an aside, all the parts have shipped from the various suppliers and none were shocked that Mid America was involved. All this time I paid storage for a car they couldn't work on because there were no parts.
Still to this day, no contact attempts made by them.

We bought an expensive ceiling fan from these people in April 2015. We were told it was the best thing since ever and guaranteed. We had them install it to preserve the warranty. Well the fan has developed a problem. I called and e-mailed several times. Here is the quote from the actual e-mail I received dated 12.23.2015: "IT HAS BEEN EXPLAINED TO ME THAT DAN'S FAN CITY DOES NOT SERVICE OR REPAIR FANS UNLESS IT IS UNDER A WARRANTY CLAIM. EVEN WITH A WARRANTY CLAIM WE DO NOT PERFORM HOUSE CALLS."
I was stunned, where exactly do they think they installed the fan? At the bus station?! This is my 2015 favorite for the stupidest response this year.


Ordered a simple Fedora for a man in a nursing home as an anonymous gift. What did Lids do? They chose to use the slowest, cheapest delivery option, USPS, which can't find it's way in broad daylight!
Nor can the USPS compete with a single private carrier even if they bought new horses for theres outdated, snail mail, pony express.

I should have known from the start something about this was not going to work out.
First they manipulated the order date, they show 12. 5. 2015 my credit card was charged on 12. 2. 2015.

So what happens, the gift giving was yesterday, I had to run out and try to find a Fedora, as to not disappoint someone because of Lids/Locker Room gross negligence.

The best is calling "Customer Care", that is of course only if you have many hours to kill on hold or have them call back at 10pm. Lids, cannot obviously handle volume or a simple order during the holiday season. I can't imagine
What "Lids" people do on the off-season. Total and complete mismanagement.

These people could screw up a free lunch! Their billing is wrong every single month, that is if you get the e-bill they push. Customer service is ow handled in Manilla, Philippines. Great more people I can't understand. As for the quality of the internet and cable, I hired a company to draw up plans to dump Comcast.


Horrible company. Deceptive promotions. Ever-changing refund policy. This service DOES NOT do what it claims. Ignorant and rude people answering the phones.
