I posted a review on AARP as a result of them impacting and driving up my cost on car insurance with The Hartford. To recap, I canceled my insurance with them after 32 years. I ended up taking AAA which matched and beat The Hartford's insurance rate and am receiving better coverage with AAA.
Now after all the phone calls and correspondence with the Hartford in regards to AARP, I have noticed on all of the commercials for United Health, Cellular One And the Hartford... there is now NO endorsement attached to any of those 3 businesses with AARP. Isn't that something else? AARP does nothing for us senior citizens "Period". My friends and neighbors are following suit and realizing there are no savings thru this company, in fact it increased the cost on what they were paying and lowering what coverage they were always getting before the AARP affliation. Do your homework! I am so glad I did. The funny part is that I now longer receive AARP's junk mail anymore. I call that another "win" as well! The Hartford is still being used, United Health and Cellular One I am unsure about... be careful and Ask these companys... Please. Thank you.
