I think the 1 star is for the fact that they do reply to an email, otherwise it would be zero... if that was an option.
We had booked a hotel room in Montreal in March that had to be cancelled due to Covid. I realize that these are tricky times, particularly for travel industry, but to wait 8 months for a refund on money that I have paid is ridiculous. I've emailed them hoping to resolve this without leaving an unfavourable review, the reply back is always the same... unprescedented times, they are only allowed a certain amount to be refunded per day by their bank... Never again. How do you run a business like that?
