I subscribed and paid a full year in advance for a policy
I was lead to believe this covered garage door openers, and it doesn't. I would never have purchased the policy if that had been made clear.
Then when you file a claim they immediately require your payment by phone before they will even file the claim. I have done this twice, and it took 2 weeks to get a simple garbage disposal placed, and even then they required me to pay an extra 28.00. Interestingly Lowes had the same one in stock for half the price.
It took a week to get an electrician out for a simple job and that's because I started calling them daily. So. I decided to drop the policy. Magically, they don't seem to be able to answer the phone, but they sure would do so to file a claim and get your money ahead of time. They are a nightmare of a company.

Tip for consumers:
Run. Find another company. Do your research ahead of time and see how they have treated other customers

Shipping isn't an issue
But getting them to answer so I can drop the policy and get refunded the prorated amount is impossible. They simply refuse to answer.

I had scheduled a trip through EF Tours, another scam company who kept my voluntarily paid large deposit
I had to cancel the trip, within a week of booking it for health and other problems. And the trip was 18 months in the future. Capitol One refuses to remove this bogus charge, requesting proof of cancelation. I canceled by phone. EFTours is so corrupt they are being sued by numerous people. Yet Capitol One refuses to remove this large charge because I can't provide proof of cancelation and EF Tours certainly won't admit that they received a cancelation. It was canceled by phone. I can't snatch words out of the air.
I have been a loyal customer of Capitol One for nearly 12 years, in good standing. They are losing me this week. I have fought this all summer and provided everything they requested. All for nothing.
Shame on these two companies
Cap One and EF Tours. Too bad I can't give a zero star rating, for both

Products used:
It was a trip and I voluntarily paid more than what was required to book it, to help with the eventual required balance due. The tour company, EF Tours AND Cap One, are both proving to be massively disappointing, and will never get my business again.
