  • La Colombe

7/23/22

I love this brand! I am no longer a coffee drinker, but their tea is amazing and i LOVED the canned coffee when i did drink it. As good as their coffee and tea is, what leads me back to La Colombe is what they advocate for as a company. They donate, support black lives matter and similar causes, give back to the community, and help support the planet (im sure there's more). I think they are all around a wonderful company and worth supporting!

  • Stubb's

7/23/22

Once you get Stubb's you'll never buy another BBQ sauce! They have the recipe down and I hope they never change it. Nowadays it's in almost every store you go to, so it's easy to find and worth it. My favorite flavor is original but the others are great as well. I usually purchase at the grocery store, but it's definitely my go to sauce!

  • Vega

7/23/22

I frequently buy Vega, but also still buy other brands as well! They are a good solid option and easy to find in stores and have relatively clean ingredients, but I don't love it enough to buy exclusively. I get the plant based protein powders and have no problem but don't love the taste on its own, so I mix it in with smoothies. It definitely is better than some of the other competitor brands i've tried, but not quite #1 for me.

  • Laneige

THE LIP MASKS LIVE UP TO THE HYPE 100%. I've tried a few other products from Laneige, and to be honest they didn't stand out to me over similar products from a different brand, but the lip masks too. I have chronic dry lips and a little bit of the lip sleep mask before bed has done wonders. It seems a little pricey at first, but each jar lasts me a year so it's worth it.

  • Blue Bottle Coffee

7/6/22

Blue bottle will always be iconic. They have quality coffee, quality products, and quality service. I ordered coffee beans on their website as a gift, and shipping was very quick. I've always been in their store fronts as well, and I can't recommend enough. They have a fresh taste, and make other coffee companies seem so much worse by default. Consistent, trustworthy brand!

  • Winc

7/6/22

I will say, ordering from Winc was simple. You take a survey, and they send wines accordingly. I was luckily able to get a good deal on my first box, but I'm not sure it would have been worth it if I didn't. I feel like they somewhat cheap out with the brands they use and it's nothing I couldn't pick up from my local beverage store, but it was a good deal with the promo. Keep in mind you're signing up for a reoccurring subscription too, and customer service could be better.

Thanks for sharing this feedback, Lauren. We do our best to communicate this is a subscription and we're happy to hear you enjoyed your first order. We hope you'll think of us again in the future as we continue to improve our customer service and selection.

  • Aesop

7/6/22

Aesop has the best hand soap/lotion/skin care out of many brands I've tried. They have clean ingredients, and as a former esthetician, I approve. After over using hand sanitizer during the pandemic, their Resurrection hand lotion is the other thing that repaired my cracked hands. Not to mention the scents are great as well. A bit pricey, but worth the cost entirely.

  • Crumbl Cookies

7/6/22

Is crumbl good? Yeah I suppose so but it's not worth the price. I found the cookies to be inconsistent, and the same recipe is different each day. For nearly $6/cookie, I want to at least be able to know what to expect. Customer service is pretty good though!

  • Kiehl's

5/1/22

Kiehls has some of my favorite skincare, but I don't like buying their products online. I recommend shopping in store, I've never had problems there! Watch my attached video for more details about my experience with Kiehls.

Tip for consumers:
Shop in stores versus online!

Kiehls ultra facial cream

  • Thekriptstore

3/28/22

The kript is a cute, relatively cheap fast fashion website. It has iamgia vibes at a more affordable price. I got the aviva bag (the same as the other reviewer), and it was cute, but i feel like there could be better quality for the price. I would shop here again, but probably not often. Attached is a video review going further into detail about my purchase!

  • Victoria's Secret

2/27/22

Victoria's Secret seems like a brand that would maintain quality, but over the past 5 years, it has progressively felt cheaper and cheaper. I recently ordered a set of red plaid pajamas, and sizing seems a bit inconsistent compared to other similar items I've bought here in the past. The quality also seems worse compared to items I've bought in 2018 or at any time before that. Luckily I bought them on sale for $20 (plus a coupon I had) so they are decent enough to keep for the price, but for an original price of $70 +, I would have been highly disappointed. I recommend going in store to buy items to try items on and check quality especially before committing to an expensive purchase. It's just not the same it use to be.

  • Frasier Sterling

2/27/22

Frasier sterling has cute jewelry, but they are a bit expensive. I would recommend not buying anything full price, but they do have good discounts often - be sure to take advantage of those! My purchase was a small red heart ring, and they included another ring for free, which was a great surprise. Packaging was cute, shipping was quick, but if I paid full price, I would have felt ripped off with the quality.

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy items at full price, wait for sales!

  • Miss Lola

2/26/22

This company is so inconsistent. Each of their shoes sold have different brands and sizes, and one of the Miss Lola branded shoes I purchased came as a different label. I wish this would have been listed as so, instead of marketed as Miss Lola branded shoes. The two pairs I ordered luckily fit, but the same size in both had entirely different fits. Beware of their return policy as well, because you have to pay to return. They sell out of sizes so quickly as well, so I'd say it's not worth the stress to buy from here. There was cute pink packaging that the order came in, but that can't be the selling point for me. Save yourself the time and stress (and likely money too) and find a shoe store or website that has free refunds.

  • VRG GRL

1/31/22

Verge Girl has fashionable, unique, decent quality clothing. They are very expensive, but I have absolutely loved everything I've purchased from here. This is the go to place for cute date night outfits, something to wear on vacation, to class, or literally any occasion. Watch for items that go on sale, because I've seen pieces that are originally $80 USD go down to $10 USD. Since they are based in Australia, shipping to the US can take up to 2 weeks I've found so just keep that in mind when ordering!

Tip for consumers:
Check the sale section!

  • Glossier

1/31/22

I'm not going to lie, I'm a fan of glossier. They have gentle, cruelty free products that my sensitive skin seems to like well. BUT i will say, you most likely have to already have relatively good skin to like it. I don't have acne prone skin, and the products do make my skin feel hydrated and dewy, but i already have genetically healthy skin to begin with, and i have a feeling that might be a big factor. I think of it more as maintenance products, rather than something to fix skin issues. A little over priced, but i've always been happy with my purchases.

  • HelloFresh

1/31/22

I will admit that I thought every one of HelloFresh's meals I ordered tasted good, and is something I would make again. The pricing is more affordable with discount codes, but those are easy to find so I was happy with the cost. That being said, the shipping needs improvement. The ice keeps everything very cold, but they place the meat loosely in packaging at the bottom, which causes the packaging of it to open up very easily. One of my boxes had this happen, and I will say customer service was more than helpful and ended up sending me a whole new replacement order for free and let me keep both. It makes for a fun date night or an easy meal alternative to eating out, but it does create a lot of waste and I don't think it's sustainable enough to order on a consistent basis. Overall, I would recommend trying it even once!

I purchased a gold miami cuban link chain as a present over a year ago, and it was very well received. The item is worn often, and it has held up nearly perfectly considering the wear it gets. Shipping was relatively quickly, and they even included an extra item for free. I was able to find a discount code, so look out for those since it was able to save me a good amount of money. I do like how they sell both solid gold and gold plated items as well. It was a good value for what I received, and I would still have been happy with the quality if I paid more. They also have a warranty, in the case that items are faulty or defective!

  • Swarovski

12/27/21

Swarovski is one of those tried and true, consistent, jewelry brands. Pricing can be a little expensive, but for what you get and somewhat unique items, the price is worth it to me. I purchased a necklace for my mom, and it was high quality, looked better in person, and the 'diamonds' looked as authentic as possible considering it isn't real. The only complaint I have is some of the necklaces are pretty short, and they don't easily sell necklace extenders, so watch out for that.

Tip for consumers:
Pay close attention to jewelry length and sizing.

  • Alex and Ani

12/27/21

I have overall been happy with my bracelet purchases from Alex and Ani, but I feel like their quality changes from item to item. I have tried the necklaces before, and it seems like a cheap material, something similar to what you could get for a lower budget. I know it's more of an "affordable" jewelry brand, but I wish I could trust the consistency a little more.

  • Nike

11/29/21

Nike is a good, reliable source for shoes, especially athletic related. They can get pricey, but I've never had any problems with any shoes I've purchased from them, their quality, or customer service. Although, the clothing can be hit and miss. Items are constantly in and out of stock, and sales don't happen too often, but they are good when they do. Shipping is usually pretty quick as well! Overall, no complaints. If you live near a Nike Outlet location, do check there inventory before making a purchase if you don't have anything in specific you're looking for.

Tip for consumers:
Check out Nike Outlet stores! Also, you can get much better deals online vs in Nike store locations.
