I was a Prime member for a long time, but this past year their service has gone way down... so I cancelled my membership. Got sick of paying $14/month just so my packages could be scanned as "delivered" when they actually weren't delivered, making me have to deal with Amazon directly to fix the situation every time.

And despite the "guaranteed" delivery date, Amazon would tell me to give it 2 more days to show up because sometimes "delivered" packages arrives late. Ummm, why is Amazon ok with this? Do they not understand what "guaranteed" and "delivered" mean? Lol. Also, once an item is scanned as "delivered", there's no way of tracking it anymore... so, good luck getting that package.

Why does this happen so often? Oh that's right, because Amazon charges mail services (like UPS) a fee if packages are delivered past the guarantee date, so delivery people's supervisors tell them to just scan the items in the truck to avoid getting hit with that fee... which also puts lots of extra and unnecessary pressure on the delivery people. They're afraid of being docked their pay, so they scan packages days before they arrive... if they ever do arrive, that is.

This happened to me 4 times in the last 5 months. Unacceptable. Certainly not worth $14/month membership. And, I don't want to support a company that puts this kind of financial pressure on already-hard-working people. All those bells and whistles they offer customers comes at the expense of these overworked delivery people. Not cool, Amazon.
I had such high hopes for this site. I loved their mission statement and the fact that you have to audition to be accepted (which means it's not just a free-for-all), and that it was just $200/yr. Granted, they're a newer P2P site so they're still building their client base, but you only get about 1 or 2 auditions a week. If that. And half of those require a phone patch, so if you don't have that capability you're down to 1 or 0 auditions per week.

I belong to other P2P sites and book gigs on an almost weekly basis. So, it's really disappointing that after 4 months I've not booked a single job, here. Course, considering the minuscule opportunities it's not all that surprising. Plus, there's no feedback offered, so it's like aiming for a bullseye in the dark.

Also, there doesn't seem to be any customer reviews avail anywhere, which I find odd.

Really sorry to say, but so far it seems to be a waste of time and money. Not to mention a confidence-killer, lol. Will not be renewing.

While we are sorry that you are not happy with your experience, others have had much more success. VOPlanet has job postings daily. Phone patch means someone wants to listen over the phone while you record so you should be auditioning for those. Hope you book soon! :)
