I waited up front for someone anyone to recognize me and my family. The staff looked and walked away. When I was finally recognized then I was offered seating by a table which had not been cleaned for awhile. For minutes, staff walked by and not even greeted me and my family with someone would be with me shortly- nothing. It was 30 minutes and nothing. I should had known when the 4 families seated were looking around too.
But when I had enough and asked for the manager the same person who greeted me didn't even say we are short staff, my apologies for the delay nothing. It took me asking and then stating how do you expect for black people to patronage our businesses when we treat our money as it means nothing.
Don't apologize for it- address the concern. I know we are struggling in so many ways, but excuses will not get us where we want go. This was not what I was expecting at all.
