Website indicates that it typically takes a week or so to make your glasses, and that you should receive them "within 14 business days."
Ordered a pair of eyeglasses from these folks on August 9. Unlike just about every other online glasses place (and I've bought from Zenni, Coastal, $39 Glasses, and others), JEMOptical requires you to send them a copy of your Rx. Bit of a pain, but OK, did that, and received a robo-response acknowledging my order and indicating an anticipated ship date of August 26. Kind of long, but assuming 2 days for mailing that would have gotten me my order within the represented 14 business days.
However, as of the August 26 "anticipated ship date," I'd heard nothing no notice that the order had shipped, no tracking number, nada. Sent a request for an order status update to the indicated mail address (there's no phone number, which in handsight should have been a warning sign). Other than robo-email responses, I received no substantive response... but shortly thereafter the "anticipated ship date" on their website "order status" widget was updated to show that my order had inexplicably "slipped" to an August 30 "anticipated ship date (subject to change)."
I've tried repeatedly to get any sort of actual, substantive response from this company. As of this writing, other than automated e-mail responses, I've heard zilch from them.
We'll see if things improve, but so far this place looks pretty shady at best. Prospective customers might want to consider with a different online vendor.
