“Avoid Accuweather Forecasts and Malware”

I have never been so disappointed in a website that I used to consider to be completely safe to visit. What used to be my "go to" site whenever the weather would take a turn for the worst, is now a website that I will avoid. A recent visit to Accuweather's Doppler radar area of their website was so overrun by advertisements, including one that indicated that I needed to add a new extension to my Chrome settings before I could view the radar. This extension turns out to be harmful malware. So, I'm done with Accuweather. They obviously don't care about keeping their website safe.

Tip for consumers:
The review I wrote about Accuweather's website was about the website itself, and it was not about a purchase I made through Accuweather.
