Don't bother with this app. To prove a point, I posted several items. In their description, the first line was, "please, don't ask if this is available, because I will not respond.". First two days, I received 4 messages. All of them said, "is this still available? So I replied to each saying yes, it was. Not one person out of the 4 made any further attempt at communicating. So, are they bots... or real people? It has been about 6 months now and I have yet to sell one item on let-go but I usually sell one to two items per week on Craigslist. I can say, however that at least with letgo you can post items for sale. Facebook marketplace seems to flag account and put you under review all the time regardless of what you're selling. And there is never a human being to speak to. It is all automated responses for the computer who can only see dots and dashes.

You will see it all over Pinterest. Earn hundreds of dollars a month by simply completing surveys. I've been on this site for 9 months now and I have earned $30. Most of the surveys will get personal information and then ask a few questions regarding their topic and then tell you that you don't qualify "here's three points". That equals $0.03. When you finally do qualify for a survey, you will spend 20 to 25 minutes completing it, and half of the time, right at the end, the survey will freeze. You write to customer service and they will ask you for the survey ID number. The survey ID number is only available to you before you start the survey. So unless you record that number every time you start a survey, you're not getting any reward for all of the information you've given to that particular company. 2 out of the 10 times, you will complete the survey only to be kicked off at the very end, where they tell you that you've already completed the survey or that your answers were not consistent. Most surveys average around 20 minutes in length with a reward of 50 points which is equivalent to 50 cents. You will be bombarded with emails stating that there is a new survey available to you. You will receive the notification and if you sign in immediately upon receiving the notification, it will tell you that "sorry, this survey has already reached its maximum number of participants." The surveys themselves have been slapped together by who knows who, but whoever it is clearly does not put any insight into what they are asking. They will ask you for your age. Then they will ask you for what year you were born. Attached is a screenshot that's one of my favorite questions. So, even if you were rewarded for every survey you took, you're only getting paid a dollar fifty per hour. There are probably other things you could be doing for way more money than that. Save your time. Save your frustration.

Recently signed up for care.com which apparently connects people who are looking to hire cat sitters/dog sitters/housekeepers. Despite my having 30+ years experience owning cats and dogs, having references from previous employers who have trusted me with the care of their animals, having 20+ years experience in retail management, I did not even get 1 employer (applied for 100+ positions) who was even remotely interested in even conducting an interview or asking me a question. But I guess I could have TRIPLED my chances of getting a response if I paid their monthly fees. And, Oh, I'm very sorry. I've been a little deceptive here. I did get one response. And after sending my CV to the gentleman, I received an email from Care informing me his profile was pulled from their website and they hoped I did not send in my CV as this gentleman was a scam artist. Fantastic.

  • Ebay CA

What the hell is wrong with me? I fell for it (shakes own head on disgust). Ebay sends me a promotion they're having. Today and tomorrow list up to 5 items and it'll only cost $1per item. Well, i said to myself, its completely different than buying so lets give it a go. If you ever decide to do this, please keep in mind that they will ask you for your package dimensions so it's basically got to be ready to go when your listing it. Then you get to have the most enjoyable experience when you have to decide between 8 shipping options for Canada alone, then decide which shipping options you're going to use if an American buys your product, and then you have to decide what you're going to use if an international buyer decides to buy your product. This, in itself, was an exercise in absolute frustration. As I said to eBay, why are you not letting the buyer decide which shipping option they would prefer. Maybe someone wants to and is willing to pay $50 to get the item there in 2 days. Or maybe they just want to spend $15 and wait 30 days. They give you a handy dandy shipping calculator to figure it out. I say give the dimensions and let the buyer decide! Anyway, I finally get the lot into a box ready for shipping and as I press post, i get a notification saying i didnt select the handling time. (... was pretty sure I did... and there in black and white it said 2 days handling time) press post. NOPE. Says i have not selected the handling time. Okay. So i go to change it to 1 (maybe it had to be 1?) NOPE. Doesnt give me the option to change it. And wont let me post. Wtf? So over an hour spent and i have nothing listed, and a few less hairs on my head (thinking of suing - they're getting sparse...) But you know what, Ebay? I'm going to give you a thumbs up. For your consistency. You are at least consistent at sucking at EVERYTHING! Save your time, folks, use facebook or craigslist. They're cheaper to use anyway.

Just wanted to thank you for your services. A whole lot of negative reviews (albeit, warranted) on sitejabber... so here's a positive: Smooth, without complications. Thank you again.

  • PayPal

Long story short, PayPal takes $85 out of my bank account 8 days ago. I made a purchase today for $4 today which they charged to my bank account. I am on a medical leave from work and my income has taken a huge hit. That $4 put my bank account into a negative. So now my bank is charging me an NSF of $45. After spending close to 4 hours trying to get this sorted out, PayPal has promised to give me a "letter to give to my bank which will hopefully get them to reverse the charge. Their customer service representative Ryan, was an insolent, rude and impatient jerk. Because of their incompetence I was unable to purchase a necessary food for my fish fry. I have lost more than $500 in livestock, $45 in nsf charges, 4 hours of my own time, and probably 2 years off the life of my heart. After speaking with 2supervisors, Gerry, a very inconsiderate, apathetic individual told me that he was the highest I could go and his supervisor would not accept phone calls from the public (or wouldnt even call me back). You stole $85 from me, not to mention everything else. Karma can have a way with dealing with criminals like yourself. But I see its already doing that with E bays recent decision to go with another company and finally scrape the trash like you off the bottom of their (pretty trashy, too) shoes. I'll never buy another thing online again.

  • Shoppers Drug Mart

My mom is ill. She asked me to pick up some of her shampoo at Shoppers Drug. Of course, LOL, I picked up the wrong type of Dove shampoo. When I went into the Shoppers Drug Mart that is by my house to exchange it, I thought it would be best to return it at the Cosmetics counter as this is the first cash register when you enter the store. I took the shampoo is out of my bag, and asked the lady if i could return these and purchase the "flavour" that my mom wanted. I hadn't kept the receipt thinking i would not be returning shampoo. The clerk flat out said no and told me that people were buying items on sale from other stores and returning it at their store. SERIOUSLY, you think its worth my time to trapse around the city for $2? I was beside myself - confused and almost insulted that I was being accused of this. So i decided to exchange them at the location near Mom's house. Again, I was treated like a criminal. First excuse = "that will mess up our inventory". Wrong. Not if you return the two, and charge me for the new bottles. Cashier had to call supervisor up who seemed miffed that his "work" was being interrupted. Again came the 'you bought these from a different brand retailer and are trying to return them here'. I was NOT trying to return - merely switch the flavours. I was NOT looking for a gift card - merely trying to switch the flavours. So my question to Shoppers Drug Mart would be this: when did you stop training "customer service" and start training "customers are all dishonest". I have never felt so offended and disgusted before. So my questions to my SELF are:"will you ever toss another receipt away again?" The answer is no. "Will I ever return to another Shoppers Drug Mart again?" The answer is, again, No. SDM used to be a great company - even gave away cookies and tea on seniors day. Now all they seem to want to give is hassles, and accusatory implications. Now, after I leave Mom's, I am going to Wal-Mart to buy some Advil to take care of the headache you've created. It's way cheaper there, anyway... and so is her shampoo. Shoppers Drug Mart - I wish I could have given you a thumbs up, but the only finger going up is my middle one.

  • Wish

Yet another online shopping extravaganza. A lit of items are not that much cheaper than retail price here at home. But just like Ebay, Wish.com is drowning in the muck and myre created by the cesspool of corrupt buyers who are taking our money, investing how much of it? For 60 days - at which point we are now requesting a refund because the item never showed up. The followup here becomes ridiculous. Surprise, you've just won a part time job following up with the seller and the websites. But then the seller says "no problem, i issue refund". No problem at all since you were awarded whatever interest rate on our money that you invested. You can't try and tell me that Wish and Ebay are not aware of this. Look at the reviews. The seller has been accused multiple times of the product not showing up or bullying customers into making positive reviews. But neither online company cares. Both just want to get paid the commission from the seller - no matter how dishonest they are.

As a non-paying member, this is the site that gives the least free features out of all the dating sites. They'll show you photos of members, and you can indicate if you're interested. But, lol, they will send you a notification saying, "(This member) wants to meet you. All excited, you click on the link, and there's a blurred out photo. You can somewhat make out where they are from, so you do a search. But you will never find a profile with their name. They will never show up in your matches. So, are they real? Or you're playing a hard hardball, POF? "Oh, you both want to meet? No, we will only allow you to connect if you give us $$. POF." Have ya ever gone fishin? Ya sit there ALL day, catch nothin', and think "Well, that was a waste of time?". Get ready for a lot of thinkin'.

My bank account changed. I removed that bank account from my ebay and paypal account. I called ebay to verify that the funds from any subsequent returns (because there are always products that never arrive) would be returned to my paypal account rather than my bank. "That's right, sir", Shandy said, "All your money will be returned to your paypal account because there id no banking information on your account." I said, "Even though the original method of payment was my bank card?" "Yes, sir.", she said. Guess where the refund money went?
Ebay: why does EvERY little thing with you become a drama? Are you just incapable at EVERYTHING? I do apologize, you're the best at the most successful ponzi scheme out there.

Ebay customer service sucks

• Previous review

Bought 4 individual items. Went to pay for them.
Ebay groups them all together because theyre from same seller. Their mobile app wont let you pay for multiple items. Spent half hour trying to find a stupid customer service phone number - click on contact us tab and it brings you to the help and contact us tab. Click that tab it brings you back to contact us. Finally get the phone number - they tell me its not posted on the internet due to possible scammers (but i could post it here if i wanted to.) then told that my problem (above) is a problem and theyre trying to fix it. Well, someone told the program to group the sales together, so... after telling the operator over and over again the details of my issue - who couldnt do anything about it - was then passed on to another Nobel winner. Maybe the executive that made the decision to not post a customer service phone number should spend some time on the phones and see how it affects an already frustrated customer - or are they out collecting THEIR award?
