I have used ebay in the past as a infrequent buyer and it has generally been ok. Recently I decided to start selling on ebay, I had some products so set up an account and listed my items. I researched prices from other sellers who were selling similar items and followed the ebay system as it asked me find similar items so i could post in the right categories... all seemed to be fine, the items were listed and started to get views etc.
This morning i received a email telling me my account was suspended, it provided no reasons at all for the suspension so i contacted their customer service via the online chat and they essentially refused to give me any reasons for the suspension and disconnected me when i tried to discuss the issue. If i have broken any rules its completely accidental and i would have been willing to make any required changes but they have literally suspended the account and then removed me from their system without any rationale being given and now refuse to discuss it... basically high handed and impossible to work with

DHGate have finally agreed to process my refund and have emailed me to confirm they have done this.

They have a huge problem with suppliers providing false tracking numbers so your goods never arrive but by the time you complain the seller has deleted their account and moved on. I placed two orders with two seperate suppliers and this happened both times, i note from other peoples feedback this is not uncommon.

Whilst DHGate have refunded me, to their credit, they simply do not take this issue seriously. On the latest occiasion i told them weeks ago this was a scam and they simply ignored this and followed a policy of treating it as a supplier dispute. I told them the supplier had deleted their account, again they simply ignored this.

Essentially their policies are not fit for purpose and make it very easy for scammers to operate. You can get your moeny back from DHGate but only after waiting weeks and having the inconvenience of never receiving the goods you wanted and having to constantly speak with their customer service people... who are not always well mannered with one of them terminating a conversation with me before i had even finished the discussion.

Save yourself time and wasted effort, do not use DHGate

Scammers paradise

This is an update to my previous review which covered the fact that i had ordered two seperate items via DHGate, on both occassions false tracking numbers were given to me and i received no goods.

Following my first review here DHGate contacted me, they still refused to treat this issues as scams, which they obviously are so reluctantly i agreed to wait 5 days for the scammer to respond to my dispute (because all good scammers respond to emails once they have the money). After the 5 days i contacted DHgate to ask for my refund and they agreed to process it after unitially trying to make me wait a further 3 days.

Today i received an email from DHgate telling me to wait another 2 days despite their customer service person agreeing to my refund 2 days ago.

It is no wonder scammers use this site, their policies are simply not fit for purpose. I literally have a 100% record of not receiving goods and having delayed refunds as well as the time i have had to waste on the issues... to be avoided

I ordered two bikes from two different suppliers through DHGate. Both times i received tracking numbers only for the package to relate to a different address to mine. New suppliers try to get a sales history behind their products by placing them at ow prices but then deliberately not fulfilling the orders, they simply hand the same tracking number to a number of different customers which buys them weeks to increase the price on their items and make it look like they have sold a lot of them to boost their sales. DHgate did process refunds for me eventually but it took hours of conversations with them and having to follow their unfit for purpose process which continually allows suppliers weeks to respond even though the supplier has turned off their email notifications and in one case deleted their account. PLEASE DO NOT USE DHGATE, it is a waste of your time, energy and money
