I ordered some boot stripes before reading the reviews on here. I also sent two emails regarding my order that were completely ignored. The initial email confirmation I received said that my order as being processed. The next day I received one that said my order was no longer being processed but in production. This meant that the item was not in stock and it could take another 2-3 weeks to get the item. It's not until you go to their FAQ's that they make mention of this. Surely this information should be at the point of sale. Once I'd read the reviews on here and saw all the negatives I decided to ask for a refund. I no longer trusted this firm. Paypal never received a reply to my request from this company and neither did I ever hear from them. As such Paypal refunded me in full. I really don't understand the point of this company. This site is full of similar experiences re poor customer service and shoddy product. The website looks great but the whole buying and customer experience is appalling. So it begs the question. What's the point of this ‘business?'

What started out as a promising purchase has turned into a nightmare. After riding one mile on my new scooter the brake suddenly locked up the front wheel when the throttle was pressed. I contacted the company who asked if I wanted to send it back to be looked at. I said no as I'd managed to get it to work. When it happened again after 3 miles riding the company said that the manufacturer of my TS2 Pro Scooter had asked for it to be returned. After numerous emails and being told by Wayne' at Scootercity that it was in a queue to be looked at (with no definitive date) and then in the last email suddenly using the virus as an excuse.
I asked for a refund or new scooter, which I'm legally obliged to have. But now looking on their site they have none left and no restock date which they have shown before. My last three emails to them had been completely ignored and I'm disgusted at the poor level of service offered by this company. But today I finally got a reply. They said that a lead was disconnected when they opened the box and that was the reason it didn't work. This was an absolute lie because the scooter was working when I returned it. It was only because Wayne' had insisted that it be returned due to a manufacturers request. And now this awful company want me to pay £10.00 to have it returned to me! They're putting the blame on me so that firstly I will have to pay for it to be returned and secondly they get out of having to pay the postage cost I incurred when sending it to them. I see that a reviewer in July 2018 had the same experience. Being told that it was a loose lead and insisting on £10 postage to have it returned! The other two things that I've noticed is that they ask you to leave a Trustpilot review as soon as you've finished the initial purchase. The review should be done once the product has been received. They also own a site called Nitrotek. This site is selling the same scooters (not mine at the moment) at higher prices than this site.! Absolutely avoid this company!
It's now been over 7 weeks since I asked for a full refund and they've completely ignored my emails. When your item goes wrong (check out their other reviews for Nitrotek) you'll see that other customers with faulty products have had the same appalling experience. Now awaiting for the credit card company to do a chargeback which will happen!'
