Staff were exceptionally polite and patient with the long process of recoving data from my hard drive while I was located on another continent. Gillware returned my recovered data in a new hard-drive and with it came a "connector wire". I didn't pay too much attention to the connector wire, simply giving it to my company IT staff and kindly asked them to upload my recovered data. IT staff told me, "this connector wire" that communicates data from your hard drive to your laptop, is laptop specific, and it is broken. As the "connector wire" worked before sending to Gilware, and didn't work on return, they were the obvious source. And upon gently asking Gilware to fix the problem, they wrote "... the only thing Gillware does is data recovery." I wrote back, "... apparently Gilware does a little bit more than just recover data." They break things and don't compensate for them either. Because the "connector wire" is laptop specific, I am spending weeks looking around for one on this continent. I probably will resort to Ebay or Amazon. My recommendation to using Gilware is: "Take a picture of your kit before mailing it to Gilware, and send a copy of this picture with your post along with a message..."Gilware is responsible for returning all functioning parts in working order to this client." sign and dated. Take a picture of the kit laying next to the picture..." Good luck. For $800, you think Gilware would be more careful when pulling connector wires, and have some surplus funds to replace broken "connector wires".

Tip for consumers:
Gilware company recovers data from hard drives. My hard drive became mysteriously "encrypted" which means someone logged onto my computer and put a password on this hardrive. Gilware probably unscrewed the hard drive and put the platters on a their own reading machine.

Yes, I should have read the Terms and Conditions in more detail. I did read them. I don't recall seeing that " you can not get a penny of your money back, that was not invested in metal first." That means, if you leave any extra money in your account, and that extra money is not invested in metal -- it becomes the property of GoldMoney. They should say that up front, but then who would give them their money?

The help staff makes the appearances of an effort.

Overall, if this was a solid, customer-oriented company, they would be FAR more transparent and concilatory to their customers.

“Purchased 6000 in gold way back. Transfered to holding account, very difficult. This month statement shows 0 grams and 0 dollors. WTF. Is there a class action suit against these criminals?”
