One of the many sites out there claiming to give you unlimited downloads of movies or streaming free movies for a small fee. Here is the problem, this site is greatly illegal and infringing on tons of copyright laws, and I may realize that those wanting to use this site do not care about that, but the real reason to care is that sites like this are not following the law and may also be out to scam the consumer by stealing credit card information. I would recommend if you are going down this rabbit hole to watch movies or other content to at least check out this site

Not a big fan of this type of site. Here is the deal, they charge you money to get so called unlimited downloads of copyright material off of the internet. How they can advertise this legally? I have no idea, maybe they are based in some other country. The problem is because they are operating outside of the law, who knows what they will do with your credit card. They are stealing from copyright owner so obviously that I just can't trust them. Other peer to peer services at least are US based companies that try to stay within the law and those I would more recommend. If you are looking at this site, you should also be looking here

If anyone can make sure bittorrents stay somewhat legal and mainstream it will probably be this company. They use the Azureus client and tried to make it more social which was a great idea as that way people can know which torrents are safe for downloading. You see people can put all sorts of viruses in what gets downloaded and someone may be looking for a movie to download or software and end up with a virus that hijacks their computer. It is pretty much impossible to tell which torrents are good and which are bad, but vuse is social and can give the user some direction. I won't even go in to the entire debate about legal issues revolving vuze let's just say you can end up downloading hollywood movies in minutes and you can see why it is so debatable. Vuse itself is very legal and if a content provider has a problem they can contact vuse legal which clearly says on their site "Vuze respects the rights of copyright holders and publishers and requires all users to confirm they own the copyright or have permission from the copyright holder to upload content. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and promptly remove content when properly notified. Repeat infringers' content is removed and their accounts are restricted or terminated from accessing our service." I'm sure all of those kids downloading Harry Potter really do have an extra copy of it upstairs in their bedroom they just can't seem to find.

Not a fan of emule as it does not appear as reliable as using a bittorrent client like vuse. Plus they are blantantly advertising copyright material available for download like hollywood movies. You can do that type of illegal activity using vuse and bittorrent but for them to so obviously try to get people to download copyright material means that they will be shut down by the law and that they are also trying to operate outside the scope of the law which worries me from the point of viruses.

Not a bad search tool for torrents but there is growing competition for all of these bittorent search engines as they can get so much traffic. Frostwire also can interface with itunes and this is similar to what vuse can do with that type of itunes interface. They have a great selection of indexed bittorrents and I will sometimes use this site when other search engines fail me. I like the chat room feature and it helps me find torrents without viruses in them.

This is probably one of my all time favorite sites to go for torrents. Clean and well organized and it lists pretty much any torrent that you would ever want to find. I like the torrent interface and they let the user decide which torrent is the best and they also rank the torrents on if they are good or if they are possibly malicious. Let the downloader beware, some torrents are just plain evil and can hurt your computer. Torrent downloading is not for the faint of heart and you had better be doing it a computer that could be destroyed. Not the fault of this site though, you just need to really read all of the user comments on the torrents on btjunkie that you download.

  • The Pirate Bay

2/7/11

Pirate bay used to be the main source for finding the "best" bittorrents around. Some may have used it for both illegal and legal searches and torrents. After a few court battles and legal coming down on pirate bay for copyright torrents, they are now more of an index now. Still they get a ton of traffic due to how big they were in their hey day.

I am surprised this has not been reviewed here on sitejabber before. I see so many spam sites for illegal downloads of tv shows and movies and yet nobody has reviewed the legal yet controversial bittorent website. It is true that copyright infringement using bittorrents and downloading hollywood movies is against the law but bittorent as a company is very legal as they just provide the software to do so. It is the trackers that are the target of law enforcement. In case you haven't guessed so far, people tend to use bittorrent as a way of obtain copyright movies, software and pretty much everything. For a more complete description of how it may be illegal to use bittorrent read this

I think Vuse may have this site beat, but I do like how they have HTTP downloads and no need for a client. I'm not too sure about paying for it monthly though. I would like to up my review to a cool but at this point using their free version, i can only give it a meh for the super slow speeds. Plus the link always expires and seems like just a tease to get you to join. Vuse is also free and seems to work better and seems like less of a ploy to get you to upgrade

One of the most versatile blogging software around and very robust sites can be developed using it though it is not the easiest one to learn. It is most robust if you can code in PHP and mysql but many can install it on their site without using any complicated code.

  • Walgreens

Extremely reliable in terms of shipping and getting what you asked for at a much reduced priced as compared to buying from your doctor (at least that was my experience). I know this is one of the most reputable companies online so I trusted them and costco didn't have the brand I wanted.

Male enhancement? Seriously? They claim if the results were not so amazing how could we afford to have TV commercials... really? That is their "clinical" study? How about, if their secret ingredient that "really" works is so wonderful then don't you think other companies would have caught on by now. FDA I guess is too busy to verify these claims on TV.

C'mon... a weight system that you just shake and it is supposed to make you get ripped? Have dumbell curls become so boring that we need to invent a shaking dumbell to keep up entertained? I'm not too sure what the target audience is for this product, perhaps those who don't go to the gym already and want a magical pill to get in shape. Here is my advice, if you want to get in shape simply join a gym and hire a personal trainer... do it right!

  • Chowhound

4/20/10

Now that everyone knows that Yelp is a totally fake site with fake reviews and business are finally suing yelp, I have been using Chowhound to find the best places to eat. Very solid reviews and the people on the site are real and not plants by business owners and competitors. Just real reviews by real people... unlike yelp. Yelp's new tag line should be fake reviews by fake people.

  • World of Warcraft

Do you want to have no social life in the real world? Want to meet hot elf girls (really guys) and kill the lich king? If you start playing this game you will never stop... ever... Blizzard will own you. Nevertheless, it is probably more fun than sex, so just play it...

  • ThoughtLead

Very interesting website and while I have seen turn-key social networking sites before, this one has a much lower price point that I have seen in the past. They don't have any demos or examples on their website, which prevents me from giving this site a full heart, but it appears some people like their work. I think their website would sell much me much more if I could see some examples and I would think they could basically give away their work for a single client and then that client would allow the world to see that their platform was developed by thoughlead.com. Nice price point though :) I know first hand it usually costs much more than that to buy turnkey social networking type of software.

  • Fry's

8/7/09

Who just doesn't love Fry's electronics? Great return policy and cheap taiwanese knock offs for almost every electronic item out there makes this the place to shop. Forget overpaying at Radio Shack or office depot, buy all of your supplies at Fry's and you know you are getting a fair price.

  • Gamefly

Renting unlimited games for as long as you want is so much better than buying a game. Your average game is like 60 bucks and that can get you almost 5 months of unlimited game rentals. I did like the other person here suggested and cancelled my membership almost immediately and did get a steep discount on their monthly fees. You can also buy games at a much reduced price with their reward points.

  • Premiumtvforpc

8/3/09

While I wish this were true, I believe this is falling into the category of the Free TV for your PC scam. There are dozens of sites like this out there that offer to turn your PC into a satellite HDTV for 40 dollars. You can read about this common scam here:

  • Swords

8/3/09

Anyone who goes to renaissance faires needs a sword and a big old suit of armor. This is the best site I have found for buying medieval weapons such as swords, axes and even halberds. They have a wide selection of armor, plated and chainmail too. Prices are great but you will need to sharpen the sword yourself as for some reason it is illegal to sell sharpened swords I guess. Odd given that you can buy a loaded shotgun but you can't buy a sharp sword. They have a great facebook fan page too and you can read up on all of the local events near you where you can actually wear your suit of armor and bring that two-handed sword without people flipping out.
