BE VERY WARY OF THIS COMPANY!
The simple reason is that though you buy from the Multitrip.com website and indeed pay Multitrip.com, when you need to make a claim you are not being looked after by Multitrip.com, but rather a dubious company called "Travel Claims Services Ltd" whose customer service rating is abysmal. I believe this is a terrible case of gross mis-selling bordering on downright lying.
My terrible experience was that I was originally told by Multitrip.com that the additional cover I had opted to pay for when purchasing my annual holiday insurance plan called "travel disruption" did cover me for the loss of over £1100 in accommodation costs due to forced cancellation as a result of COVID-19. However, after waiting patiently for over 8 weeks I then received an email from "Travel Claims Services Ltd" to state that though I was covered they were not going to make a payment to me.
When I contacted Multitrip.com to ask who "Travel Claims Services Ltd" were they explained in corporate speak that though you pay Multitip.com you are passed over to "Travel Claims Services Ltd" when making a claim.
PLEASE BE VERY WARY BEFORE BUYING INSURANCE FROM MULTITRIP.COM
