The dress I ordered from Floryday was garish and cheap looking. It looked quite different from the picture. This is irrelevant- it was trying to return it that was a nightmare. I do a lot of online buying, confident that most sites have a great return system if required. I rarely make a return.
Getting a return address was difficult. Emails went back and forth with Floryday trying to convince me to keep the item because return postage would be too expensive for me. They offered 50% off another item if I kept the first. I wasn't interested and was now determined to return the dress. It had become a matter of principle. It wasn't until I raised a dispute with EBay and PayPal that Floryday supplied a return address and agreed to refund my money. It cost me about $12AUD to return it, which I was happy to pay. Eventually they refunded the full amount but it shouldn't be so hard. A similar thing happened to a friend with Floryday and neither of us would ever shop with them again.
