After years of lackluster service from Charter Communications, we canceled service for a more reliable competitor. We followed all of the ridiculous cancelation instructions, including dropping our equipment at UPS. After all that we get a collection account pop onto our credit. It was not a huge amount, so low that all I can think is that UPS lost our equipment or spectrum didn't sort them properly. Either way, putting a collection on our credit for their bad management is essentially theft by incompetence. DO NOT USE CHARTER UNLESS YOU'RE OKAY WITH BEING ROBBED.
