Two bad charges and no correction and no human contact. Charges automatically accepted even though I never did business with the charging company. First charge was then canceled through my credit card company, including a cancelation of the card number for fraud. The 2nd charge was for an undelivered package from China. After months of delays and stupid repeating questions they said they would be providing a refund. Wasn't worth the time and efforts but I went for the principal. I expect worse outcomes once they complete their new alliance with China.

I ordered facemasks and the process was easy. Good price at the time, excellent communication, faster delivery than expected, quick email response to my question, and good packaging. A very good company to do business with.

Years ago Slickdeals was good and met my expectations. Today it posts lots of credit card offers along with Amazon. This is presumably due to the referral fees SD receives for those that use the provided links. It has become difficult to navigate through the flack. The members' comments are 50% good/OK while some of the other comments are a waste of my time.

I specified the 2 day delivery on the order but did not get what I expected for a $7 shipping fee. When I phoned about the issue I was told 1) Any order entered into their system after 1 pm ET will not count as started until the next day. I was told that if I placed the order online earlier it would not count until THEY entered it... 2) Puma said they can take as much time as needed to get the order ready for shipping and the two day time would not start until it left their facility. In other words, it can take days or weeks before the two day clock starts! Would Amazon do this to their customers?

Found what I thought was a reasonable price and I had what I thought was free shipping, that was shown on the first order pages. After filling in all of the information and getting to the second to the last page (just prior to placing the order) my cell phone received two (2) texts indication my credit card was already charged 2X for the non-purchased item. When I call Bonton.com to get the charges removed they tell me they can't remove the charges because it is up to the credit card company. The credit card company shows the problem is with Bonton. After hours on the phone I am still attempting to get the charges removed so I can cancel the credit card account. Note that my calls to Bonton are answered by nice employees that just do not have the correct facts. Bonton pays their phone personnel $17/hr, so now they have spent a lot of money to not do the right thing. For now they get the lowest rating possible.

I have found a FEW room rates that saved us some dollars. This past year there were a couple that we found and liked very much. I had to do some work to find the deals and then purchase them so it would have been much easier to just book them straight with the business. On the NEGATIVE side I purchased a couple of services that just did NOT work out. One business wanted to charge me a lot more so I did not use the coupon and it seems that Groupon is keeping my money. This is not the way to keep your customers happy and is far from my expectations. Be very careful when dealing with Groupon and be sure to read all of the disclaimers and links, then keep copies of these documents. If it does not work out expect that you will not have a recourse and they will make the decision not to refund your money. Making a purchase for a room within a few days may work in your benefit and I may try it again.

12/9/15--Blake, 1) I set up a profile but did not knowingly authorize the charge; I want to make this perfectly CLEAR! 2) Difficult for me to understand that more bids are free rather than paid so, Blake, please tell us the actual numbers and I will revise my estimates. Are any of these "free bids" made by the company?
9/20/15-Update: Thought I would do the math for you. For every dollar the price increases QuiBids receives ~$37! This suggests there are going to be a number of losers for every winner; this must be a form of gambling with rather bad odds.
Original: Just signed up after attempting to read lots of legal text. After completing the sign up I was charged $60 for 100 bids that I did not authorize and very much did not want. There is no way I would ever authorize the purchase of 100 bids while planning to just try it out.

Tip for consumers:
In response to QuiBids the calculated money taken in will be $61 per dollar bid ($0.60/bid*100 bids per dollar=$60 + dollar collected for price...),
Note that QuiBids says they don't collect 60 cents for each bid so make an adjustment ($37) and the collected dollars still appear rather high. This leaves a lot of losers.
***Another point is that the ratings have a statistical bimodal distribution (1*vs,5*) which I can't explain; The mean is centered at 3.0. Maybe SiteJabber could look into thi

Blake B. – QuiBids Rep

Hi Ron. It sounds like you completed your payment info to purchase the starter bid package (100 bids at $0.60 per bid for $60). We are happy to refund the unused bids in your account. Simply contact us at support@quibids.com and we'll get this started for you.

Also, you claimed that every dollar the price increases we get $37. This isn't correct info, because that's assuming that all bids placed are real bids, and a majority of the bids placed are voucher bids (free bids won in contests, voucher auctions, etc that have no value). Hope that helps clear up the misunderstanding. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our support and we'll be happy to explain further. Thanks, and have a wonderful day!
