About Me

I have done a plethora of things in my life and enjoy almost everything. I am always wanting to try new things and research new ideas. I don't really use social media anymore because it's destroying society as a whole and making people unable to think for themselves. I like trying out new products, testing and reviewing them in my small amount of spare time. I like to see small businesses thrive so everyone has a chance at success. I spend a lot of time outdoors!

How I Can Help

I spend the small amount of free time I have testing different products. I recently started a new business that is all about finding the next thing people are going to want. I always have my eyes open for good idea and inventions. I was considering starting an online business but I hate sales and marketing. I try all different kinds of stores and products because I hate seeing only a few of the top businesses get all the money. My regular hob keeps me busy most of the time unfortunately.

This is by far the best password manager on the market. It's free version is more then enough for most people but regardless I highly recommend spending the tiny $10/year if for nothing more then to support an incredible developer,

BitWarden does everything you need and more. It does it more securely then any other password manager I have seen. Bitwarden has browser extensions for almost every browser, IOS, Android and a Stand Alone Windows version. Data can be a little hard to migrate because most of the time you have to export your old data to a. CSV file which isn't secure but i; s easily doable or you can just start a new database.

It even allows for you to host you database and key on your own server if so choose. Yes he had a security issue with storing keys on local HDD's a long time ago but it was resolved and is more secure then ever.

I personally use and highly recommend this password manager because it will be the last one you will need for a while if not ever. The customer service is great and you can even access it through Github if you have suggestions. This might be a tiny one, or maybe by now a few person company, but it's the best out there. I for one am grateful to them for making such an incredible software and not selling out.

If you are looking for the best password manager please give this a try and I promise you will not be disappointed.

This is an incredibly useful free service that even gives you a limited API. A quick way to verify a download or a suspicious domain before visiting it. You can map out all domains connected to your target domain and even CDN's.

They offer free browser extensions and even a free mobile app. They have a limited Windows Desktop app but this isn't to replace your A/V software. It's more a webmaster tool that can be used by individuals and everyone can contribute in and can vote on if they believe a domain to be malicious or contains malicious content. My favorite part is the VT Graphing feature in conjunction with your API. You can literally map almost everything connected to a domain.

This is an awesome suite of tools for even the home user with a little knowledge or willingness to learn!

I wouldn't take any direct advice from anyone on this site but it does work very good as a sounding board for ideas. This site could also potentially be used to pump particular stocks up which is a bad thing. However I think it's a great place for traders to get together and exchange ideas without all the political crap that is everywhere else. I am relatively new to the site but so far I am happy. There is a free and a paid version.

Amazon is a great site but they are not big on privacy. Usually has the best prices for purchasing stuff if you don't want to wait or deal directly with China. Their website is safe and orders are guaranteed. Amazon prime is a must if you plan on using Amazon much at all because of the free shipping. Now with one day shipping on a lot of items it's really convenient.

Also on the rare occasion I have had to contact customer service they have a call back option and it's usually instant. Never had a problem with customer service at Amazon as of yet.

They just want your email address and other information even if you don't get a subscription they still make money. I don't like sites that do things this way. I am happy to pay for things I use and get a reasonable trial to. They give you three stories and then you got to switch IP addresses to get another three. It's a flawed business practice and I will never subscribe or give them my information. I won't even go back!

I know Alibaba and AliExpress are the same exact company but AliExpress is like the retail version of Alibaba. It can be full of scammers and drop shippers. It is easy to be ripped off because they don't have your back like Alibaba because your not a possible big business. Prices are a little better then Amazon on some things but not others.

If possible unless you are familiar with withing with sellers on there are have trusted contacts I would stay away and stick with Amazon or try Alibaba but it's a little more complicated. Shipping can take over a month a lot of the time and it arrives damaged a lot. Trying to return something to China is a pain. I have had some good buys on there but I happen to know some sellers. If you do use it be very careful and if it seems too good to be true then it most likely isn't.

I cannot in good conscious recommend this site to the average consumer, AliExpress probably will not have your back, unless your willing to pay to ship products back yourself in most cases.

I ordered a pair of boots for work from them not knowing much about the company beyond the little research I did into their products and people I knew who had used them in the past. Needless to say my first order was not what I wanted because the eyelets that the boot laces go through were way too small to fit custom laces in them.

I thought I was stuck with a pair of boots I didn't like because I had agreed to and purchased them off clearance. They reached out and offered me a full refund, I decided after looking at their other products to give them another chance so I swapped the pair I ordered for a better pair and paid the difference.

I am very happy with my purchase and will be getting my boots from them in the future along with any maintenance items I need for them. This was a solid company that stood behind their products. It's hard to find companies like this now days. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because what I consider a design flaw in the first pair but other people were happy with them. I just can't see having boots I can't put good paracord laces into. To me every item I wear needs to serve multiple purposes if need be.

I have found a lot of unique and interesting knives here. They are truly a rare find themselves with so many people selling fake or substandard quality knives it's nice to know where to find American made knives.

They can even custom make knives for you and you don't need deal with drop shipping or worry about it not being what you ordered. Haven't had to send anything back yet but don't think it'll be a problem. They have a eBay store as well if you don't like ordering direct.

Amazon was great and is still good but you can find so many things cheaper and better in other places now. They charge way too much for their prime memberships. Also they use so many trackers and other data collection tools you basically have to sell your soul to purchase there. Now with AWS (Amazon Web Services) almost all traffic is routed right through them including our camera feeds.

They've got great customer service and that I must give them credit for considering their size. The free shipping with Prime helps but what you pay for prime almost negates it. The quality of product fluctuates wildly. I know the Amazon Branded batteries were exploding and they didn't seem to care.

Has a lot of fake profiles and rules aren't enforced but you can meet a few decent people on there. Me I've met two people I really like as friends now over two years but I don't pay for a membership. I am sure paid memberships find a lot of people.

Like all online dating sites it's all about the money and they will try to nickle and dime you to death!

If you get the premium subscription then it's an excellent service with a lot of music you can't find elsewhere. You can also go to ebay and buy lifetime memberships but don't ask me how that works. People swear by it though.

Anyways Spotify is a good site with a decent if a little intrusive app for all platforms. It's one of the better providers out there by far.

I have used PIA for years now and they have been constantly making improvements and investing in the software/hardware to improve their service. It has always been a great privacy centered company, but now their software is getting much better. I have been please with them for a while and haven't even bothered checking out other recently. Why fix what isn't broken.

Their prices are extremely reasonable for the service your getting and their customer support has always been top notch and personalized. They even have MFA to protect your PIA account!

Overall their server speeds might not be the fastest but their are plenty of options and they are now including proxy service with it.

  • Domino's Pizza

The local store is much improved since they replaced the terrible management staff. Domino's as a corporation at least the web side of it is absolutely horrible. They deploy tracking cookies and other underhanded data collection tools that if you block, you can't complete your order. I use uMatrix and can see all the unnecessary connections being made to other domains. This is entirely unacceptable to me and I can't even imaging what their application collects. Also because of all that their website is unnecessarily difficult to use just to order a simple pizza.

The food has gotten much better from Domino's as a whole which is the only reason they are getting 3 stars and not just one. Their prices are too high for what you get and they raise them to extreme levels to make their coupons and saving look better. On top of it all their piece of the pie rewards program the free pizza cost still cost $1.50 because I wanted a certain crust. That was while ordering 3 other pizzas as well.

Tip for consumers:
Use their coupons and don't add extra sides. Watch their app and website because they collect all data they can. I use a clean virtual machine before going on their site.

Products used:
By shipping I mean delivery it is a local pizza place after all besides the corporation behind them of course. Nothing was shipped just delivered. Haven't had to return a pizza recently. The pizza's been eaten so no photo's unfortunately but my supposed free pizza did cost $1.50 because I wanted a second topping.

This is a great online retailer that gives Military and Law Enforcement a discounts which is extremely useful. I would recommend them to anyone. They got some brands that are very good but not super well known. I have included some pictures of a few of the knives and axes I added to my collection. This is an edit to add pictures.

Tip for consumers:
Shop around but I haven't seen better prices and they are an honorable company.

Products used:
You can see a few of them in the pictures. They were all really good for the price!

I am very impressed with this software despite the fact it is just using Windows Defenders built in firewall and adding features. It makes the built in Windows Firewall service easier to use but you loose a little bit of functionality but then gain a few also. I mostly use it for monitoring my network which is very efficient and does fairly well while minimizing resource utilization.

This is a solid piece of software and is a great edition to any security suite you are using but you will need to disabled other firewall software. This does an amazingly simple job of protecting your device.

It's the only search engine I use and they actually take your privacy seriously if you know what your doing. You can keep the searches you want private and allow other to be viewed. Google tracks everything everywhere and duckduckgo is it's only real competition. Yes I know Duckduckgo indexes Yandex but I'm fine with that.

I have been very impressed with privatemail. I switched from gmail to privatemail because of the PGP capability built in. Are they perfect? Not by a long shpt but they are actively improving constantly and very open to feedback.

You can import your own already existing PGP key or generate your own on the site. They are working on creating apps for all devices. I believe this has the potential to be a great service.

I use it for RF equipment but they have all kinds of handy electronics components and they make customer components. While not the cheapest I consider them one of the best. They have some really difficult to locate stuff. It's a solid company and I have never had a problem with them.

Tip for consumers:
Feel free to ask questions. Great online chat.

Products used:
RP-SMA and SMA adapters and connectors for Wireless antennas.

I hate everything about Google but they have a solid email platform unfortunately, but they use it to collect everything they can about you and that's not acceptable to me! Gmail is easy to use and integrates better then any other webmail service and their app is good. You are sacrificing any right to privacy no matter what they claim though. I switched to privatemail.
