In 2017 Pretty Entrepreneurs coordinates a IAmMySisters retreat for woman to go to Costa Rica for a few days. A couple of days before the trip she canceled it the trip and promised us a refund of $1000 that we all paid out of pocket. Through out the past three years I have stayed in communication with Kayla Thompson, founder of Pretty Entrepreneurs and these past 3 years she has continued to make false promises to reimburse my money and will still do it if I email her today. It saddens me because I am very intentional when supporting black woman owned small businesses but this is the first time that a business scammed me out of $1000. I am sharing this experience because I do not want anyone else to go through the stress I went through and economical instability I did because of Pretty Entrepreneurs. As a business owner myself I know the importance of maintaining your brand and providing services that have been promised to customers. I would never go out of my way to ruin someone else's brand but this has gone far enough. I did not want to take legal matters but due to the lack of responsibility taken on this matter I am being pushed to do so. Please be careful when doing business with Pretty Entrepreneur.
