I have been working with version 1. 6. 2 of this program for 7 years along with the same legendary program as Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Both programs work in my "on demand" mode, ie. I run them as needed (suspicious situation or prevention). During all this time, the filth that got into the computer was captured and effectively destroyed. At least, no matter how serious the work of the computer, she did not have time to hurt (this is practically around the clock computer). In the last year, he even refused the firewall. Thinking about giving up an antivirus. All settings of both programs are only those that are set by default.
I believe that neither Avira, Nod, nor Kaspersky, nor other famous (and not very) antiviruses, on the effectiveness of the work can not be compared with these two programs. This is my personal opinion that has evolved over the years. But, unfortunatelly, it has weak file scanner. Here https :// thinkmobiles.com/blog/best-anti-spyware/ it is mentioned, that is suits only advanced users, but I would not say so.

The choice of free antiviruses is not that big. And we settled on Avast Free Antivirus - recommended it as a simple and easy-to-use program.

Antivirus has many advantages. The first is autonomy. The antivirus works by itself, it updates itself. It's easy for me to check for software updates, but this causes some problems for my parents. Therefore, such independence pleases. But if necessary, you can enable manual download. No keys and passwords are needed. The second is the quality of protection. Of course, if the virus was not caught, then you will not know if it was. But for now, it catches Avast well, blocks unwanted windows. So far, fortunately, there have been no problems with trojans and other dishonesty.
The third plus is multifunctionality. Avast will check for viruses, and the browser will clean it, and report performance problems. Although the latter is not for beginners - so you can remove it.

The only thing that is somewhat annoying is the pop-up windows in which they offer to purchase and install security programs from Avast. Or reports how many hacker attacks have been in recent times. But this happens once when you turn it on, so you can put up with it. But I did not notice any slowdown in the computer. By the way, has anyone tried Avast Driver Updater for the sake of better work of operating system? I found it here: https://thinkmobiles.com/products/*******/, but still have doubts if I really need it.

CyberLink PowerDVD is a program that plays all video formats, including modern HD. It has a simple, clear interface. There is support for 3D format. There are also multitasking features - for example, playing several films. And also I shot a freeze frame there for myself, cutting a film in a photograph. The program has very broad capabilities and it alone will replace absolutely all of these. For me it is the best! Recent versions also support Blu rey formats. The program works on modern computers, on old ones it will slow down. So its only drawback is the requirements for system resources. And so it is a wonderful program, the best! There are only few cons: it does not support custom resolution and may be a bit difficult for beginners or regular users, but you would get used to it quickly, for sure. By the way, sitejabber was the first source, where I came across the video editor and then I found also this article - https://thinkmobiles.com/blog/best-video-editing-software/, which was quite informative for me.

  • MiroVideoConverter

Recently, all the charts of free applications in the Mac App Store have been stormed by a utility from Participatory Culture Foundation called Miro Video Converter. This is a free video converter for iOS devices, which takes on its simplicity and support for a large number of formats. The work of Miro Video Converter (MVC) is very simple. You drag the source file onto the application window, select the device under which the conversion will take place in the drop-down menu, and start the procedure. At its end, the finished file will automatically be sent to iTunes and further for synchronization. At the input, MVC understands formats and containers such as AVI, H. 264, MOV, WMV, XviD, Theora, MKV, FLV and MP4. At the same time, at the output you can get not only a file for iPod / iPhone or iPad, but also for one of the Android devices or a PSP prefix. But MVC lacks some flexibility, but it copes with its work. I do not like also that MKV file processing is not always correct, so it may take really lot of time. So I decided to search for another video converter. After having read this article, if I am not mistaken, https://thinkmobiles.com/blog/best-video-converters/, I decided to utilize Freemake, it is free, but has watermark, so I am still on my way of finding the best video converter.
