I've been a VIP Rouge member for several years now, so I clearly like the site as well as the physical stores. They carry the more expensive brands, though the in house brand is usually pretty good. I like that their perfumes are reliable and not fakes (can't say that with all the online sites).

I only left 4 stars, because I find myself buying less expensive, and equally effective, products from their competitor. And I am becoming increasingly annoyed that the free samples they send me with my online orders are rarely the ones I picked out. Don't get me wrong, I still love Sephora. We are just no longer in an exclusive relationship.

I've been a Ravelry member since 2011, when I decided to teach myself to knit, Ravelry has taken me from basic baby hats to my first sweater, to cable stitches and lace patterns and even intarsia! I have bought a few patterns over the years, but there are so many free ones that I can usually pick up a hat or scarf pattern that is perfect. I've learned so much about yarns, about techniques, and about the sheer joy of creativity g something beautiful with my own hands.

I've included a photo of my latest project - an angora knit cabled hat - look closely, and you can see the cable pattern is actually an owl. It only took me one evening to make. How cool is that?

Take the plunge. You will not regret it.

This non-profit provides free resources to teachers and to casual coders. They started the Hour of Code, and now have literally hundreds of short tutorials and mini-games designed to get people interested in coding (which is much easier to learn these days). They also have a ton of online curriculum for teachers for all grades, from kindergarten all the way to a high school course, complete with lesson plans, online tools, videos, handouts, offline "unplugged" activities, assessments, progress tracking? And more. They also offer free and subsidized training for teachers that is really good.

This site is one of the best kept secrets on the web!
