I used to religiously read this automotive news site since 2006 until about 2013. Since 2015-ish it has become flooded with spammers who constantly insult Renault and German car brands, and their owners. I haven't owned a Renault or a German car (yet), but it's so annoying. There used to be a lot of more comments under each article, now it's the same 1-4 comments. They also removed the option to post customer reviews on car models. The test drives by the staff sound like official, paid advertising.

If you want to pay lots of money for a useless degree that's the place. You can get a much cheaper business degree from UNWE that would land you the same useless jobs like a call center agent.

I posted there even when I took time off the Internet and social media. The go-to place for the latest car discussions. A great community for car enthusiasts. I no longer follow new cars but I still check it from time to time. Thanks for all the memories!

The website to Hay House - the child of the unforgettable, great luminary Louise Hay. She was a beacon of life for me. Her audio affirmations saved me once from great troubles. One star less because the old site ran better, new one's too heavy.

I think I've visited it sometime in the past like in 2008-2011 and it felt nicer back then. Now it's a spam box for just a few regular users - a British expat teacher living in Poland, a Serbian in love with Poland, some Polish expats elsewhere and a tiny few Poles living in Poland. In general it's not a very open or positive place. It's filled with nihilism, negativity, WWII-era drama. It's melancholic or at least paints that picture of Poland and Poles as such a place and an industrial, boring, drab country. This board along with some Poles on pen pal websites turned me off from anything Polish.

It was a better place back in 2010-2014. After that it became way way too right-wing, partisan and political. It's still better than Godlike Productions, I give it that, but it's way worse than it used to be in the past. It was my go-to resource for things like nature, space exploration news, mysteries, UFO sightings, cryptozoology, dreams, history discussions, lost civilizations, etc. cool stuff.
Now it's drowning in Political/agenda topics, it's so boring. At least one can only visit specific sub-forums, which however are less active than before. Might be worth checking from time to time but it's no longer worth it to have a registration and post IMO. It was funny for a while with threads about the cleavage of that Colleen Thomas lady but lately it's too negative. If it was 2010-2013 I would give it 3 or even 4 stars, but nowadays it deserves 2.5 at most.

Only good thing is you can post without a registration/account. There's too much racism and ridiculous views about the world and the US political system. 99% of people seem to be of the rabid ultra nationalist, xenophobic republican kind. And the more moderate or leftist ones are shady characters into crystals and chakras. Very few of them anyway. Most people on GLP are abusive and toxic. God forbid if you ask for psychic reading -- they're going to either 1) call you names/make fun of you or 2) offer "readings" that will make you more confused and make you go the wrong way. A total waste of time, at least ATS has sub forums like for UFOs and such where one can avoid the political mud-pit.

The people who post in the forum are usually vicious angry ones. They act like they know it all. They are often abusive, belittling, angry and all kinds of awful. They also ban free speech about products or services, while at the same time promoting political agendas and xenophobia. Companies use fake user profiles to boost supplements to the unsuspecting parents.

I've tried many times to connect with people. Most of the ones on there are scammers, fake profiles, weirdos, creepy gay guys stalking my profile (I'm straight and there just to practice languages), racist Western and Northern Europeans that are fetishistic about Japan and Korea to unhealthy levels. Apparently everyone wants to learn just Japanese or Korean as it's a weeaboos and koreaboos galore. Good luck finding anyone interested in your native language if you're not Korean or Japanese! A total waste of time just like PenPalWorld aka PomPomGirls.
