I told service master to keep track how much it was going to cost, because I was living on social security. And if I went over my 500.00 deducible (which I had to borrow) I could only pay 20.00 a month, because of my fixed income. Well 2 weeks after the work was done their appraiser showed up for the first time. A few days later I received a bill for 2300 dollars. I was very upset at the amount! I called service master. And told them it would take me forever to pay that amount. They said it has already been 3 months and they would have to put a lien on my home. How can they be so deceitful!

I used their service after the heavy Mother's Day storms. Our basement flooded. The entire basement ended up needing to be redone. The $7,000 was only part of what I had to pay after getting water in twice. They were paid in full. I had most of our belongings from the basement put in their storage. After asking several times to see that it was secure and for a list of what was taken over there, I was told they would give me a printout which I never received, I was only shown a pic of the outside of where the items were from a cell phone. 3 of their employees were fired for damage caused by them. Just one thing, which was the worst, The chemical that is put inside the wall to prevent mold from the water damage was not done correctly. So when the subcontractors Service master sent to do the repairs went in a 3 foot section of one wall had to be cut out, and a 6" wide strip across the bottom of another wall had to be cut out from black mold. I was charged for the repairs for their guys damage. No reimbursement. They lost parts for putting doors back on. Not replaced. After paying them over $7,000.00 ( 2 bills needed to be corrected), I had to pay $4,000.00 in repairs. I was told I would be compensated and errors corrected. A layer of paint 5"wide was torn off two spots in another room. Not fixed. Before the rug was replaced (which I was having a different comp. Do bc they were over charging), they came back for another leak. I was not given an estimate, the guys were late next day, A section was taken off the bottom of the bathroom counter, not put back on, I was told they would be back later that day, no show, next day I got a call in the evening when II was putting my child to bed, he asked if he could come get the blowers! I told him he hadn't come when he said and it was too late. I also said I wasn't going to pay an extra day for the equipment not getting picked up when they were supposed to. I didn't receive a bill in the mail or email. After The repairs were finally done. I had the rug installed 2 weeks later, no issues. It took a week to get a return phone call so we could get our things out of storage. Their employees were supposed to arrive the next morning at 8:30, delayed from rain, arrived after 1pm I had to tell them to take the door off going downstairs to get the chair through! More than half of our belongings were missing and they were insisting that was all! After 10 min I got him to call and talk to someone else. An hour later they found our things. They were supposed to arrive the next day at@2:30. I called at 3:36 and was told that they were going to call when they were on the way,. I responded "I know, no one has called and they are an hour late. I have to leave at 6:10." 4:30 I was told they would be there in a half hour. Hour later they show with a 2 trucks. I told them there was no way they were going to unload in a half hour. I was then given the bill for the first time for something that was a month ago and issues still hadn't been taken care of from that. Next day, hour late. I was then told they wouldn't take any of our belongings off the trucks until they were paid in full for the bill I just received (over $1200. 00) and it was wrong, I was over charged. Wendy in the office didn't answer the phone until the delivery guy called. She said she didn't have authority to do anything and the owner was conveniently out of town! She said he would call in the next couple days, and she was shure he would listen, she would have a reimbursement check brought to me. I ha to tell the guys how to get the couch downstairs. 4 days later no call from owner. I call there and get after hours service in the middle of the day. I told them If I didn't receive a call from either Wendy or the owner I would report to the BBB. No call, no reimbursement, no one came to finish work.
