I have recently had to deal with this estate agent branch to rent a flat but due to various demand from them to provide a guarantor who earns £46k otherwise we cant have the flat. How many people know someone who earns that kind of money. I ended up losing the flat. They have a nerve to charge me and my flat mate £150 each which they were due to refund but they have kept the money and saying that the landlord had lost 2 weeks of rent. I haven't even had a chance to move into the flat so how can landlord lose rent. This is against the law and I have complained but they are ignoring my emails. This is a day light robbery and the service received its appalling. How many more innocent people have lost money to this estate agent?
