It Starts and Ends with our Customers
Sure, everybody says they put their customer first. But what does that really mean? For us, everything we do is to make our customers’ lives (and businesses) better. Instead of building a product for its own sake, we’re laser-focused on our market’s wants and needs.
From the beginning...
Late 2007. Silicon Valley.
A medical doctor sits, frazzled and frustrated, hunched over his computer. He needs to buy expensive equipment for his clinic.
The problem?
A complete lack of transparency around businesses online… meaning an abundance of fraud and malicious scammers. In fact, annual damages from online fraud would top hundreds of millions that year alone.
So how does our beleaguered doctor decide who to purchase from? Who does he trust?
To answer those questions, Dr. Rodney Gin would partner with Jeremy Gin and Michael Lai to fight back against fraud, give buyers a voice, and transform online purchasing.
And thus, the trio founded Sitejabber
A lot has changed since then, of course, but one thing hasn’t – our commitment to bringing honesty and transparency to online purchases:
To be the go-to reviews platform that unites buyers with businesses and their products. Where buyers discover, evaluate, purchase, and provide feedback. And businesses manage their reputation, showcase their value, and drive growth.
The next evolution: Sitejabber and Jabio
We’ve renewed our focus on empowering smart customers with the insights they garner from our site – helping them bring discernment and trust to businesses.
We also carved out a new name for our reviews management platform: Jabio. With continuous AI and UX upgrades to a smorgasbord of tools, we’re excited to keep elevating your success.
