Yes. You don't ever want to have several anti virus software running against each other. They do not compliment each other

Answer:

I used avast on my first computers. It worked okay. Really type in what is the best anti virus software in google. Avast isn't in the running for my opinion. AS i've said before in another post, don't get cheep about this. There are some good deals, but you'll have to spend hours doing the research.
