Run fast. I'm trying to get out of the contract. It has done nothing for my business.

Our rep that signed us up recently quit and text us someone else to contact. Which I did but still not getting any answers. We've been in this contract 6 months as expert contributors and havent gotten any of the larger ad space we were promised. We're paying nearly $500 a month and not getting any level of service. Complete disappointment to be honest

It doesn't work. At first you're thrilled to be able to write an article for a magazine that goes out to thousands of local high-end clientele. Get your expertise out there... problem is, the publications are almost completely full of ads and advertorials. Most months the family on the cover is just one of the advertisers, maybe a recipe or two. It's junk mail, and outdated junk mail at that. Nobody reads this thing - the claim of community involvement is a sham.

They suck... don't advertise! They won't let you out even for financial hardship.

They don't care! You are just a number, not a Neighbor!

Tim, I joined this site to help people understand BVM. It is looked upon in our community as junk mail, the content is mostly about businesses/advertisers, it's full of ads, nobody reads it, shoddy businesses are allowed to advertise right next to trusted businesses and watch out for the recurring billing problem. I've advertised for one year and feel like a fool. I should have put my money into some community driven events and newsletters instead.
