I am getting Marvin wood casement and want to put 1 in blinds inside the frame. Do you know if this will work.

I'm not familiar with the specifications on that particular window casement. However, I can tell you what is required for all of our 1" blinds as follows:

1" Wood & Fauxwood Blinds - 1" Minimum depth (recess) to mount. 1 3/4" depth required to have all parts of the blind inside the window opening.

1" Aluminum Blinds - 1" minimum depth to mount. 1 1/2" depth required to have all parts of the blind inside the window opening.

Generally, mounting brackets for horizontal blinds mounted inside the window are screwed to the side of the window. However, the brackets will be universal and can mount to the top, side or back.
