I am sorry I did not see this sooner, however,@Harold, the automated system does immediately send a confirmation email to the customer, once the order ships a tracking number is emailed promptly, we also have reps on the phone Monday-Friday 8am to 8pm EST, all messages are responded to in a timely manor. Of course, But by the time you pull the engine back out, pay for shipping (fedex only). Then they have an engine guy test to make sure it's the engine they sent you and if what you say is true then maybe they'll credit you. Don't do business with this guy. Crappy engine and a bunch of bs.
This is normal, due to a high rate of fraudulent transactions the company has imposed security measures to defend against this. We ask for copies of the ID and credit card when there are discrepancies between the billing address and what the credit card merchant has on file for you. We also request the photo ID and credit card when there is an excessive distance between the billing and shipping address, as in shipping from one state to another.
