The breakdown of your taxes was on your receipt from the actual hotel. The reason why you paid more than what the hotel charged is because the difference isn't a tax, it's a commission. I just left a review about how I came across these people, and I thought I was dealing with Motel 6. The Quality Inn I ended up staying in said I booked through "Priceline". Choose A Room appears to be an affiliate of Priceline. In my case, I didn't book online, but that's what Quality Inn thought. I canceled my bank card and am having a new one mailed.
