Okay- I'm looking for stories from people who HAVE BEEN compensated in any way, from CrowdTap. I'm curious how long it took to earn the rewards, from your sign-up date. Also, how much effort was required on your part to do so? And finally- where did you hear about CrowdTap and what prompted your decision to join the site and try it out?

You are not compensated for anything. You earn points. The points get you entries in contests. You could win just like you COULD win the lottery. You do not earn points that you can cash into gifts card or money. Remember this. Many times people who work for the company will do reviews on sites like this to make the company look good.

I spend probably about 5 minutes a day on their site and make about $10 a month. It's fun to answer their polls and I enjoy it.

I have earned 170 dollars in gift cards in 2 years... yes, its not a get rich site but its fun to do in spare time. I have pry gotten over 300 dollars worth of samples in 2 years. If you do the work, you will get rewarded. If you don't, you will get banned. I think a lot of the negative reviews are from people who either don't do work or have no time at all.

I've been on Crowdtap for about 3 months, collected $120 in Amazon cards(and redeemed on amazon) and received 6 full size samples to try and review, I love this site.

I have received now a collective of $168 over the past 3 years with random usage - this was also before they changed everything to automatically gift the gift cards instead of letting the companies draw names.

I've also received multiple samplings in the mail from them and still receive them.

On average it takes me an hour or 2 of continuous surveys to get a gift card, but their surveys seem easier to me than other sites like InstaGC or Swagbucks.

I don't remember where I heard about CrowdTap. I've been a member for a few years.

I have been compensated from crowdtap. I liked them better before they recently changed but so far I have been doing it probably since october and have earned 90$... now every 1000 points is a 5$ amazon gift card which doesn't really take to long. You also can get approved to get some neat samples from companies in the mail... I think i heard about crowdtap from my cousin and I'm always looking for ways to earn amazon gift cards.

I joined a month ago and I have already received $30 worth of Amazon gift certificates. If you like trying new products and answering short poll questions this is easy money. I have gotten full size samples from Secret and Amope. It was very easy to get compensated. Once you get enough points you are told on the website that you won an award. Next, they will email you a code. Then, you enter the code into another website and your Amazon gift certificate code pops up. I have always been paid with no problem. I was looking for legitimate work at home opportunities and this came up. I enjoy making a difference with different brands. To me this is like being a brand ambassador because you are tweeting out: pictures, texts, or info about the different brands. I recommend Crowdtap to everyone. It is a legitimate website that pays.

I earned 2 $5 Amazon gift cards in 2 days. After the first two, the number of points needed to earn your next gift card goes up, but has stayed put for a couple of levels and it looks like it will stay that way. In the next few days I earned 2 more $5 Amazon gift cards, so about $20 in 1 week. I don't think I'll be able to earn this quickly from this point onward--I think there were just a lot of things to do initially. Now I have to wait for more missions to show up. I have been approved for a product sample and am waiting to hear about 7 more that I applied for.

I got three $5 gift cards the first month, two $5 cards the next and then nothing. A couple of product samples as well. The online get togethers they have only seem to give the prizes to folks with thousands of followers and comments. I checked the winners from almost a dozen gatherings and none were folks with normal interaction levels. They lean towards fellow pro bloggers there from what I have seen. Maybe a good way to kill time, but I think Crowdtap isn't much more than that.
