I think this is the wrong question. GreaterGood connects Western customers directly with (usually) women's co-ops in developing worlds. GreaterGood seems to develop and market the products, and pay the producers a fair wage for their work. That's not charity, but it's probably a better break than they will find with any other garment purchaser. This is globalization of and by the people.
